I would love to hear peoples thoughts about religion vs relationship. What do you think about religion and what do you think about having a personal relationship with God?

Hello, pinkranga7. Religion is having a personal relationship with your own traditions, that I believe exclude YAHVAH (GOD). That is why Yashua (Jesus) was angry with the Jewish leadership. They valued their religion, or tradition, over the creator.
Once you start doing that you lose site of what is really important. Read James 1:27. It will tell you what true religion is. Trust me when I say that it is the ONLY way. May YAHVAH bless you in all you do. :)

It is important to grow the personal relationship with GOD rather than just looking in the tradition of religion. It seriously blinded people in the truth about GOD just what happened on the time where Jesus Christ live. The people thought that Jesus want to change the law, but the truth is HE is teaching the people how to fulfill the law with Love.

I think it is always better to have a personal relationship with God. We will always never have a 100% pure religion, if you ask me. our traditions, whatever we know we will always have left something to our own interpretation and out own understanding of our love for God. And thus, having a personal relationship with God is always better because we know that he is always with us.
