My friend is the walking Encyclopedia.

I met him when I was in College, for some reasons some people just couldn't stand his "I know it all" attitude. Sometimes he is referred to as the Walking Dictionary, and a lot hate him. He only had few friends (at school he has like 15 people who he calls as a true friend, and I am one of it), when we first met he taught me a trick in a computer that I did not know. And it started there, I learned a lot from him, I call him Big brother even though I am older in a few months.
People ask me at times, how do you keep up with his attitude and his talkative side. I always answer if you are a true friend, you would not care about his side being like that. Even I admitted it to them there are times where his Encyclopedia mode is already too much and it is making my head hurt, but that did not bother me at all. I value my friends, that is why some call me "The General".
Having a friend who has that kind of attitude makes me laugh at times. Though, this is one of his flaws, because of wathing too much sitcoms, he said that he knows how make the move. But when I saw him made the move, I was like, "oh no...". I apologized to the girl he tried making the move and left. Even though we had a friend who is "The Chick Magnet" in my point of view he sucks at it. But I know there will be that time where he can speak to a girl properly.
How about you? Do you have a friend like that? Share it here:

hello eunife. LOL I agree it is nice to have such a friend that would answer our questions. :D
but well I dont agree tht people who hate this kind of person are insecure, I think it;s just about preference. people who hates him might be because they feel bothered by him. since well, I only say this based on my experience with my friend, this kind of person have a great deal of confidence which is so nice and so troubling sometimes. LOL.
but yeah having friends like he is is so much fun.

There was this boy I went to school with whom everyone referred to as "walking dictionary". You could be like "Give me all the words and definitions on page 10 of Websters dictionary"and he would spout off every detail of that page. In order too. People used to pick on him so bad though. I would have gladly been a friend to him, but he made his dislike of me pretty clear after someone teased him that we should go out so that never happened.

Well I know people like that. I might be like that kind of from certain subjects but I tend to try and reign myself in when I can. I mean, no one likes to look stupid all of the time. No one likes to think that their knowledge is far from adequate. That is really just something that is going to really is going to be rather annoying.
People who really think they know it all are more enough. However, when people actually do know it all, that is really something that is far more annoying to say the very least. There are just times where I want to just groan when a lot of people tend to rather just promote that knowledge. Its just some people don't know when they are annoying people by knowing way too much.

LOL I have that kind of friend. she is also my best friend. LOL
and we are kinda compatible. it reaches state where she can literally read my mind. so I dont even need to put "full stop" when I talk to her.
she;s really friendly and she;s so insightful. I dont know why other friends of mine think that she;s a bit hmmm how should I say it, annoying and conceited. while I think she isn't. she just has information ( a lot of it) stored in her mind I think and she likes to share what she knows.
when I dont know about something I will ask her and she usually gives me info about it or if she couldn't she will find it for me well actually for herself. LOL. it is so funny to see her attitude which for some people considered unusual. I like my friend being herself though.

I know someone who is called as " The Walking Dictionary" in our school. She is the most intelligent in our class. I salute her because she is also the Editor-in-Chief of our school publication.
