Have you experienced an identity crisis or role confusion?A time when you asked yourself who you really were, and why you were her. What is your purpose?
Teenagers often go through a period wondering who they are?Trying to fit into their circles of friends, while trying to learn the meaning of life.
Middle adulthood- some people still struggling with their identity, perhaps out of disappointment for not achieved all they had hoped
When entering old age, people realize that life is approaching its final stages, and they wondered what kind of person they become.

I think we all experience an indentity crisis at different times in our lives. Many people use their roles in society to define who they are. For example, a woman who is married may define herself as a "wife," and she may base her decisions (likes/dislikes) according to her role.
Teenagers often try to shape their identity based on what their friends like and what the media likes.
