how do you all feel about online schools

I think online school is good if you have the motivation for it. I don't think I would have enough motivation to keep up with it plus with 3 children it would be really hard for me! (Just try to make the discussions a little longer and you will get more responses). Just wanted to help you!

if money is a problem you can choose online schools. but they are not the better option. there will be no one to control us if we take online school. if we really dont have the interest and motivation to study,online schools are not the better choice. in offline schools we get more friends and there will be a teacher to help us and clear our doubts. virtual learning always dont give the satisfaction like regular schools.

I took my college classes online. I did all my AA classes online. Not a class at all in the school. I actually liked all my classes and sitting in a class room seemed to be boring to me and i would fall asleep in high school. Now for my AA classes were very expensive and i wasnt able to get any grants or much because my mom and dad at the time made to much money and i was a dependendant under them and so there fore i wasnt able to get grants to help me pay for my college.

I personally believe that the school or better education of the future is online. Just tonight on the TV I heard this phrase: "now the world is just around the corner." Thanks to new technologies that make us interact at a distance, all with the use of a terminal connected to a network. This is not to say that the classical school is in decay, but we give space the advent of new technologies that will slowly, slowly they are changing our habits.

I would prefer normal school

hi friends:):) According to me online school since students go to school to gain some knowledge but not only listening to the lecture but also concentrating their words.in this online school people just login in to it and do their words only for the sake of attendance. is it not so???? if we do so people can gain certificate but not knowledge. once thy login thy can take rest by sleeping, dreaming, chatting wit friends, vagera vagera. these things will happen just because teacher is not in front of us. in regular schools if lecture is not watching us, what and all mischievous things we do like using mobile phones, speaking and playing with friends. we concentrate to their lecture only when he/she is strict. this is all because we are still students and we have to do this type of things to prove us:) friends will you agree this point????

On a certain level, they are really not too much unlike regular schools. Some of them offer a quality education. Some of them do not. Naturally people really need to do the research, to make sure it is worth their money and their time to say the very least. That tends to be a rather prominent failing in life and all people are left with from their education, whether online or otherwise, are loans. Granted, an online educational also requires a bit more motivation, discipline, and time management skills. Areas that many are going to really tend to be a failing for many students. It tends to allow people to make their own schedule, which is rather going to be a problem for many. However, there are just going to be times where people don't think any kind of education through.

Online schooling, for some people, is the better route to earning a degree. There are many people who get detracted in class very easily and by doing online schooling they will be able to be alone in a quiet room without any disruptions. BUT I don't agree with people doing online schooling and not socializing at all. Everyone needs socialization in their life. If you're doing, or thinking about doing, online schooling, make sure you have a socialization method to go with it (Such as going out with friends a few nights a week, or taking up a community class, like yoga). You could try doing online AND in person classes, that's what I'm doing right now. It really works pretty well for me. You could give it a try for a semester and see if it works for you as well! :)
