Drinking too much over the holidays?

I was looking through my pictures on Facebook - and I came to the realization..I DRINK A LOT! On the weekends between Thanksgiving and New Years. Now that it's somewhat back to normal, I'm not so concerned about it, but I'm wondering if I'm the only one in this boat?
Do you drink too much over the holidays, too?
Is it because we have those paid days off of work, and we feel like we need to take (oveR)advantage of them? Or what!

Well I don't drink, ever, but I know a lot of people who rather overindulge. Not just in drinking but many other things. Eating, spending money, it just seems like the holidays are a time of the year where pretty much everything really goes out the window to say the very least. That is just a rather insane time of the year.
I think that whatever we do, whatever we overindulge right during the holidays, we rather tend to pay for it in any ways, when the holidays are over. That is just a rather wacky couple of months in the year. There are times where it just rather gets out of control for many reasons. And some people tend to take it a couple of steps too far. Much to their embarrassment later on.

I am guilty too! I think something about the holiday season makes us feel like it's okay to drink too much or each too much. I don't know if it is the stress of planning Thanksgiving meals, Christmas shopping, or dealing with cranky relatives....
