what??? no TIN TIN???

is that a joke...? the oscar for this year 2012 feb 26 nomination is available to view at oscar.com and to my surprise ..for the ANimated full length category..theres no TIN TIN..nominated??? are the academy out of their already insane mind??/ they only nominated Rango, Kung fu panda 2,Puss n Boots,cat in paris, chico and roita (the first 3 is good pick) but where is TIN TIN.??? Tin tin won the recent golden globe for best animated movie..but not being nominated for this oscar is madness!!. everyone who knows about animation technology knows its the best ever since the very first cartoon "Steamboat willy"till today..TINTIN animation is the most advance of them all.

Yeah, what a shame!~ Even my wife was really impressed with the animation & how realistic it is!~I really loved the movie, very entertaining indeed!~

yes i will.. just got my bluray of tintin.. arrived from France..but its region B..need a region B player..gotta order one.lol

I was wondering to why TIN TIN was not nominated. It had a great buzz in countries like Belgium. But I think there is no TIN TIN nomination since the movie did not really hit all parts of the world. There are a lot of countries that did not have this movie in their cinema. This is just from what I have observed. HAPPY MYLOTTING.

hahaha lol..no .thats not the reason..it opens in USA even december2011..prior to february 2012 .thats like almost 3 months ahead..but still didnt get nominated.. another great film with super special effect that didnt get nominated too ..was Rise of the planet of the apes..

wow, i am guessing it was a good movie. it is odd how they go about and choose the nominees for the oscar. like last year, it seems 'the king's speech' was the underdog and it won.

yeah..but King's speech was a good movie ..it went neck to neck with 4 oscars with Inception last year..but King's speech took the best picture award.

Really!! TIN TIN didn't get nominated! that is just unbelievable.The movie was worth winning an oscar.It is just totally inappropriate and unjustified.

yes ankit!.. as far as animation is concern..TIN TIN is the best there ever been since the worlds very first animation almost a century ago.
