I am new to Mylot! So I'm a bit confused on a couple things.
1.How many comments per discussion?(I recently posted a discussion and it got deleted) 2.What are myloter's getting paid by? (How many discussions posted a day, How many you've responded to??) 3.How do you actually get the money off of this site? 4.How much has to be typed per discussion? 5.What's the number mean next to your username? 6.Is making discussions the only way to earn money?

All of your questions are answered in the FASQs which are official information by myLot to help us get the best out of the time that we spend here.
You can find them here:
http://www.mylot.com/o/faq.aspx
1 - when your discussions are deleted you will receive a notification from mylot with the reason.
2 - earnings are explained here:
http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq6.aspx#15
3 - payment is excplained here:
http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq6.aspx#1
4 - there is no set amount of words that have to be typed and no fixed rate per post because mylot is a discussion site, therefore we type as much as is necessary for each particular topic.
5 - the answer is here:
http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq11.aspx
6 - No it is not and in the FAQs you will find the other ways to earn here.
A word of advice: you earn for what YOU do and not for what others do. Start by reading all the information that mylot give us in the FAQs and the Guidelines and you will then be off to a better start.
Discussion Guidelines are here.

Hi D !
I have a question...
Why don't we get notifications about the replies we receive when we co-comment on someone's post other than our own...
Like this one ..
Mylot won't send me any mail if you reply to this query...
But then I'll have to scroll through my activities again or go to the home page and search this discussion, only to check if it received some comment...
Quite troublesome na...

Hi Himzey!
For as long as I have been a member here there has never been an option to receive a notifier when someone comments on a comment that we leave in someone elses box
I think Hatley is unaware of this too.
It certainly would be an enormous improvement for those of us who don't mind those notifiers if myLot decided to implement them

There is no limit to the number of responses or comments a discussion may have. If your discussion was deleted, you will have had a Notification from MyLot giving the reason. Studying the Guidelines: http://www.mylot.com/o/guidelines.aspx should give you a more detailed reason.
MyLot doesn't reveal the details of its earnings algorithm (and we are not allowed to discuss it or make unqualified guesses) but they DO tell us that earnings are based on the QUALITY of our participation, not on a post count or how many discussions you post: http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq6.aspx#15
Earnings are paid automatically into your PayPal account once a month, provided that you reached at least the minimum of $10 by the last day of the previous month. See: http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq6.aspx#1 and the following questions.
There is no specification of how much or how little text is necessary when you start a discussion. What is important is that the topic should not violate the Guidelines, should be sufficiently descriptive and should be something of substance which encourages good quality responses AND good quality comments on those responses. You earn absolutely NOTHING more for a discussion - and it is not even yet a 'discussion' - unless you reply to the responses you get!
The number next to your user name is your User Rating and represents (approximately) the number of discussions you have been involved in. It is NOT a post count or in any way related to your earnings. Read about 'User Rating' and 'MyLot Reputation' here: http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq11.aspx
You can earn by posting discussions, responding to those of others and by commenting in both your own discussions and those of others. You will also earn by adding images to illustrate your discussions and 'Interest' sections (but not for adding photos to your profile), by using the Search facility (see: http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq24.aspx ) and by undertaking any Tasks which you feel are suitable here: http://www.mylot.com/nr/tasks/dashboard.aspx

Hello court,
1.How many comments per discussion?(I recently posted a discussion and it got deleted - There is no limit you can write infinite comments/responses.Number of comments/responses has nothing to do with the deletion of discussion.Discussions get deleted only and only when it violates guidelines of MYLOT.

2.What are myloter's getting paid by? (How many discussions posted a day, How many you've responded to??) - There is no limit of starting discussion or responding discussions. It depends on you how much you can start or respond.Everyone here are paid for their participation. You are paid for what you write not for others write.
3.How do you actually get the money off of this site? - We are paid for our participation here like responding/commenting/starting discussion,MYLOT search engine, doing tasks, referrals etc.
4.How much has to be typed per discussion? - It is suggested that we should write as descriptive as possible and it should be relevant and should have quality content.
5.What's the number mean next to your username?- Number means activity rating of that particular user.
6.Is making discussions the only way to earn money? - No.You can earn through making active referrals, doing tasks,MYLOT search engine, photo uploading.

I think that all your questions have been answered by our friendly lotters. I agree with them all. You should just check the FAQ. But, my own advice is, post are unlimited, but beware because some post are deleted because of not following the rules. As they say here, you post you earn. It may take a lot of time and effort but if you're used to it. It will be easy for you.
Happy lotting.

If you read the faq, it answer all your questions. You can make as many comments as you like as long as it is relavant to the topic. Your comment should not be one line comment. It should be more to make discussion more interesting and alive. Your pay is not based on how many words but how qualified your writing is. Every time you respond to a new discussion, the number will increase. Mine might be not correct explanation. Others may explain in more details.

It's easy there isn't a set number of comments need on a discussions. You earn by writing your own discusstion and answering others. If people comment on your discusstion answer back as well as when your comments to others are. You can also make more money by doing tasks. You get paid on the 15th of every month through paypal account which you can make for free throuh mylot. You have to make $10 or you won't get paid for that month. By if you don't make $10 it'll roll over into the next month. The number next to your name is discussions you have answered and started. It show how much you have participated over all. The more you write the more money that you get for that day and you can check it out every day through hitting where you see the money up at the top on the left. Welcome and good luck all of this info can be found in the guidelines I do suggestion that you go there and read them so you have a better understand of mylot.

hello Court, welcome to mylot! Most people will advice you to read the FAQs and guidelines pages. Yes, as a newbie, you should read first these pages for you to know the rules and guidelines of mylot as well as how you will earn here. All your doubts will be answered once you read what is written there. Your discussion was deleted because it may be a poll or it violates the guidelines.
You can post as many discussions and responses as you can. Sky is the limit here. You can earn here through creating and responding on discussion, complete some tasks and you can get rewards if you use their search tool. Make sure your to provide quality responses. The number next to your name means the number of post you've made. I hope I answered all your questions. Enjoy and happy mylotting!
