I had a really bad experience on it I've experience it on my first job,I am hired to be a layout artist, encoder and to operate their xerox machines,at first,I talked to my employer how does the things work in their he said, its easy and I only need to work 12 hours a day 7am up to 7pm but later on I've noticed that they are extending my time up to 10pm plus they always ask me to encode all the papers they gave and then he said he needs it immediately(means tomorrow 7am sharp). After i got home I immediately did it because its an extra income for me,they gave me 300php for my work I'm very happy that time.As time goes by Ive noticed again they extend my time again..and again and again I always got home 3 am in the morning plus I have to layout all the data they've gave to me and once again I did again for extra income,I came to work around 8am because of lack of sleep.Actually that time i just sleep for not more than two hours:(I'm so exhausted that time. The worse things I had experience to them they ask me to cooked their food(lunch and dinner sometimes snacks)even I am doing the xerox, they let me to came home around 5am in the morning and came back at 10am and more worse I haven't received my whole salary on my employer..the only salary Ive got to them is my extra income and a 1000php it is supposed to be 7,700php for 2 mons:(so after two months I've decided to leave and find another better job that is equal to my hardwork..I'm really depressed that time..but back then I'm really happy because my hardwork had a good karma, after I left them many GOOD opportunities had came to me until now:)

Yes i there are many bad bosses and only handful which are good , regardless of the big or small companies , there are more bad bosses and little good bosses.I guess sometime it is hard to be judge them , because in the business world , it hard to made money and people do perform better if they are pressed in the old ways, i guess new ways are there to better motivate people than being a bad boss.

Hi!
I agree but being a employer he/she needs to be considerate on time of his/her employees, how can a employee works properly if he/can't rest properly? It might affect the boss too and the other employees right? And the employers need to give the salary equals to its hardwork.I know I experience a boss that is so strict on work but after work or on breaktimes she manage to tell us a joke and mingle with us.Its hard to find a good and nice boss with genuine attitude sometimes you'll find a really bad one.
Thanks for the reponse..^^

I'm so sorry that you had to go through that. It's hard when you're a good worker sometimes because people will take advantage of it and try to get more and more out of you for less. A lot of times they feel that since you're willing to work then you can do your share and everyone else's share as well.
I've had a couple lousy employers. Actually, all of mine have been lousy in one way or another.
I first worked at Olan Mills as a pre-seller to schedule people to get pictures taken. I had a quote (2 coupons per hour I worked) and I didn't usually make it. We were located in a Kmart that had maybe 100 different people frequent it in a small town and I tried to get everyone who came in to buy, but it got to the point where as soon as people saw me they would tell me no before I could say anything because they had been asked so many times. The week before I was fired I made twice my quota for that whole week so it was a really good week and the week after that I only worked one day and I only made half my quota so I was fired. The thing that was lousy, though, was that the manager in charge of hiring and firing didn't do it herself she had someone else do it and they left a voicemail on my cell phone because I was in class. I was just angry about how unprofessional it was.
My second job was retail and right after I started working they froze the wages so I was stuck at minimum wage despite the fact that in the first year I worked there I received two promotions, so I ended up making like $2 an hour less than the other people did in my position which pretty much sucked. By the time I got that position I was also basically doing the jobs for the managers and all the people that were supposed to be above me and people actually came to me to find out what they should be doing or how to do stuff instead of the managers which is sad because I handled the cash mainly and was not in a leadership position lol. I didn't mind, I just hated how all the managers expected me to do everyone's work, theirs included, while most of the other employees goofed around or did nothing.
Then the last job I had was as a waitress which really was crappy. I was one of the best people they had working there and they knew it (and told me several times) so they continuously pushed more and more responsibility on me, eventually leading me to quit. There was only one good manager there and the other managers didn't know what they were doing, didn't help when they should, were completely rude, or sat in their office all day talking/texting on their phones. I got really annoyed and ended up leaving because I became pregnant with my daughter while I was working there and it was too much stress. At that point they had me training other waiters/waitresses, which I really enjoyed, working food in the window to put the final touches on it before it went to the customer, serving customers, and also being the "leader" in the back, which basically means being in charge over all the other waiters and waitresses and keeping everyone else on task and making sure things are done and running smoothly. They also had me closing 6 days a week, which meant I worked 4-10 or 4-11 four days a week and then 8-8 or 9-8 two days a week and whenever I closed I ended up doing all the closing things (which took like an hour) while everyone else stood around and talked and did nothing. And I was 12 weeks pregnant at the point where it was becoming too much for me and my blood pressure was so high my doctor warned me to quit or risk my health. So I did since health comes first. But I'm terribly glad I did because, like you, it opened the way for all sorts of possibilities and I now have the chance to stay home and raise my daughter which is the best job in the world.
I wish you the best of luck in your future jobs and I'm glad to hear that you have some good opportunities. I hope they work out for you!
