why facebook is blue???

well this a question i really want an answer for. there are so many colors ,so any reasons ,what can be the reasons for Facebook being blue in color. is there any sort of indication regarding the color "blue" or its just a choice. well i think there has to be a reason why Mark Zuckerberg decided on the color "blue" friends any reason you can provide??

Facebook is not the only Internet brand the loves blue.Actually blue is the most popular and dominant colour among the top sites in the world.See at myLot logo! Why is it blue..,hmm?

I think blue color represents "peace". The creator wants to unite people of all nationalities in peace. No war, no dispute, no bomb, etc, etc. Blue also conveys vastness like blue ocean. There is always a place for anyone who wants to sign up.

I have read one article that says Sir Mark Z is "red-green color blind" so basically he sees blue much clearer, and according to him blue is the richest color for him, he can see all of blue.

well i think its blue because it symbolizes...coolness...i think...it wont be attractive if its just plain white though...nor red...or even black...though thats just my opinion...

for me its only chose of Mark Zuckerberg i guest he love color blue there is no meaning about this color.. same with mylot why mylot is color white? i think its only choose of the owner.

As per my knowledge "blue" is a symbol of "beauty".... And through Facebook we can find our many of close person and renew our relationship in a smoothing way..... And it ultimately makes our heart beautiful.. So its may be a cause of that..

Nice question. Maybe Mark like blue as I do. I am not sure what is the reason why Mark choose blue. Anyway, I love blue and I am not a facebook addict :)
