Hello people! I know that you earn on mylot based on the quality of your discussion but what is a good quality discussion? Also I hope this don't violate the guidline but how did mylot rate the quality of discussion? Is it rated by computer or by human behind mylot?

I donĀ“t know how mylot rates it, but I rate a discussion as having a good quality if I am interested in it. I am sure that even if computers do a great part of a job anywhere, there must be a human being watching. Happy posting and welcome to mylot!

Quality is rated by a very sophisticated algorithm and also by our (human) fellow MyLotters as they rate your posts using the [+] and [-} buttons next to each post.

Well in my opinion, a good quality discussion is a discussion that has at least 4-5 lines in length usually talking about a subject or topic that you are most interested in or wanting to talk about. It can be about any type of topic of your choosing and something that will interest others in wanting to respond back here. Also the best thing is when starting New discussions is to respond back to them to what others had to say to help increase your earnings here as well.
The rating of discussions is done by each person who comes to one of the discussions someone has started. They usually base it on quality and the way they person portrayed themselves. I always take time to rate someone starting a Discussion as well as when they respond back to mine as well.
