A Surprise in the Mail

I was having a less-than-stellar day about three days ago. I woke up extremely late despite of the fact that I had to submit something for school, and I wasn't able to do so. Understandably, I was frustrated - who wouldn't be? I spent half the night awake just so I could finish that assignment in question, and I wasn't even able to submit it!
Nevertheless, I thought that there was still a chance that my professor so I thought that I might at least try handing it in - you never know, right? I went to a school in a hurry, and sadly, my professor refused to accept my assignment. I was pissed off, but hey, it was my fault, and I have no one to blame but myself.
With my GPA probably shot, I went back home. I couldn't stop mulling over just how this botched assignment would affect my GPA, and I was a mess. When I arrived home, I was surprised to see that I received something in the mail. My godmother from Germany had sent me an autographed picture of the coach of the Germany National Football Team, Joachim Low! Quite understandably, I was ecstatic. I adore football, and Joachim Low is one of the coaches that I really admire. I honestly can't believe that I had an authentic autographed picture in my hands!
So yes, my day ended up being great because of what I got in the mail? How about you guys? Any surprises in the mail lately?

Yes it happens sometimes for working or careers opportunities, I confess that I get excited about it...I answer and get organized with the hope that it will turn into something...weeks later nothing happens and I guess it is normal too! However it is nice to receive an email that makes us dream for some days!

No Surpirses but bills coming in the mail my way except me ordering Miami heat Tickets this week which came yesterday by Fed Ex. It was great getting the tickets but i knew they were coming so it wasnt really a surprise at all but it was a surprise that we got seats one and two sine my boyfrien dlikes to sit on the end and be able to stick out his leg only because he was in a motorcycle accident and bending his knee sometimes hurts him so being able to sit on the end helps him as well. That was the only best surprise i got all week.
Now i am sorry about your school assignment and your professor not allowing you to hand deliver it and you being there face to face with him is kind of rude i think but then again maybe you were late trying to turn it in. Now you should have his email and then be able to submit your assignment through email if it is a assignment that you were writing up. Not to sure why you were able to submit it still since there are ways to get around it. Well hope your GPA is good and have a great day mylotting.
