i worked for the same company for the last 9 years and now that i changed job, i am having a hard time coping up with the new environment. it seems everyone knows everyone already and i felt like there is no place where i can sit on. have you experienced that?

I believe everybody will feel like that. After all, you are in a new environment with strangers. I remembered it took me almost two weeks before I started to go out with some of my collegues to have lunch together. Don't worry, you will make new friend and be one of the team in no time. Just relax and take it easy.

hi eunife,
During my first day as a teacher in a public school, I was very nervous. I do not know my colleagues and I was really shy to talk or ask questions with them. It seems like in my every words and every actions, there will always be eyes to judge what kind of person I am. I think that others might have same feelings like me. Well, that is just the beginning but I started to go along well with my colleagues as time went by. Now, I am confident with them because I already know them.

Hey you feel that way because you are new there. Just give it a few more days or a few weeks and you will be like one of them in no time :)
I haven't really worked, like not even once in my whole life so i haven't experienced first day at work. But I think it's almost the same like the first day of school. You don't know anyone then but as time goes by, you might find the best of friends there :)
