I am a Liverpool FC supporter and am glad that they are back in a final at wembley as a club of their size should be.
I think if you look at the Liverpool team on paper they should easily beat cardiff in the final but cardiff have shown a toughness about them to get to the final and should be taken seriously. I think the difference maker will be Steven Gerrard as I think that if it wasnt for him Liverpool would not have made it to the final.

liverpool are a good side to watch but the best team in the premiership this season is Manchester city, if your new to football you should watch them beause they play some excellent football

I am so happy for liverpool, i am a blackburn rovers fan and kenny dalglish is a legend to us aswell as liverpool so i am glad he returned back to liverpool and won a trophy

On paper, liverpool are the favourite to sin the league cup and Cardiff are the underdogs. However, football does not only depend on "favourites" and "underdogs" because upset do occur every time. I hope liverpool players will be focused (remember how Birmingham dashed the hope of Arsenal in the same league cup final!).
Liverpool is currently doing well again and one hopes that good run will see the team through to claim the cup. On that basis, liverpool, and their fans "will never walk alone"!

This is a real chance for Liverpool to win a title this season. They are having a fantastic cup run. They are already in the final of the Carling Cup and yesterday they knocked out Manchester United from the FA Cup.
I think Liverpool are the favorites in the final at Wembley and I would love to see them lift the trophy after a long time.

the final of the league cup looks like a good one , as cardiff are a good team and they will give it everything so as to try and win the league cup. They will have to fight hard to win against liverpool but they can take some confidence from the last year league cup final as a underdog team won. Birmingham won last season against arsenal so they will think if birmingham could beat arsenal so can they beat liverpool. also liverpool arent in the best form. suarez is missing and carrol hasnt played like he did at newcastle.
But liverpool have bellamy in form so they can and have to try and win a cup so that they can build on the win and end the season on a high note.
steven gerrard has made a good impact but he needs other players to step up.
