hello guys! although i dont watch showtime a lot, whenever i do i really enjoy. i just watched what seemed to be their last episode. I am not sure whether they ended or not but it seemed to me that they did. but why? the show was really good and i think they have a lot of televiewers. i really have fun with the jokes and all. i think the people love the show, why end it? i am really shocked and saddened as hosts bid their final goodbyes. the show has been a part of everyday life.

Yes, showtime just had its final telecast January 27. Well, not everything good lasts forever. I have been watching this show because I enjoy the antics and gimmicks of the celebrities and the number of aspiring contestants who are really good. However, I think this is only for the meantime. I believe this is a top rating show and would most probably be back on air with a few improvements or this might be the show they will pit against Eat Bulaga, who knows?

a show as good as this ending? can't believe it right? i was thinking that they will just revamp it or something. happy yihee yehey which is really so boring will be ending on feb 4. But i guess the schedules of hosts affects the show. Billy will go back to europe, anne will have a world tour, karyle has an international show.

it does not really end. they just have their break and will come on February 6 to replace HYY. maybe their creative team had their planning so the show can run against eat bulaga. we all know that eat bulaga is the undisputed noontime show so they must really work hard to gain viewers. they have tried the time slot before when wowowee was suspended but still replace with a noontime show that does not last.

I do not think that showtime would end. It is top rated and it would be a loss for the company if they did so. Also, remember that showtime is a show where they host competitions so it probably just finished a season and from what an episode I saw in the past few days, I assume that. They will open sooner or later to start a new season.

i was also thinking of that. probably they'll come back in the next season. but as said by other mylotters, it will just be reformatted so i hope it will be just like that and it won't end. thanks :)

I think Showtime didn't end. What I knew is that it was Happy Yipee Yehey who ende today. I think Showtime will just transfer into a new time-slot since it is one of the most top-rating show of ABS-CBN.

I haven't actually watched this show. But I think shows stop airing if its either not making enough money to cover the costs it takes to run the show or the ratings of the show are not good, they're losing to a rival show or something. But it does make viewers really sad. I agree with you that for some, these shows had become part of their lives. And when it stops airing, they'd feel a part of them was lost too. That's how I feel if I'm used to watching a show for say years and then it would eventually stop airing.

i don't really watch it everyday but whenever i do i always have fun because of the jokes and all that. i'm just used to knowing that whenever i'd like to watch it, i am able to, now im not. I was just looking at their ratings , i made a research and i guess that compared to the rival shows, it's ratings were lower. i was surprised because it's such a fun show and the ratings were lower than the rivals whose shows were boring.

Hello mavil85. That episode of Showtime was their ThankYou episode. It will be having its new format, and titled "It's Showtime". They will have the same hosts plus some other additionals. I am not really a fan but I love the hosts. I guess you can also feel their closeness.
