Sir Alex Ferguson, claiming that Liverpool still remains the toughest rival for his team. Instead of the tough EPL rivalry against Manchester City, he still considered that the game against Liverpool remains the biggest game this season. "You can not ignore the advances of Manchester City. But now, Liverpool is still a tough rival for us," he said as quoted by Soccernet. Ferguson was impressed by the performance of "The Reds" who can beat City in midweek Carling Cup yesterday in a match that advanced to the finals. However, Ferguson believes that "The Red Devils" can stop the journey of Liverpool in the FA Cup. Sir Alex admitted the results of his team at Anfield in two or three years have not been good enough. As we know that the FA cup game is the first time since the meeting of racism abuse cases involving Luis Suarez and Patrice Evra, last October. Related to this, Sir Alex was asked to the players and fans to forget about it. He also declined to comment directly about the case and hoped the incident was used as a soccer lesson for goods.. What do you think about Sir Alex opinion?

That is because Liverpool is a traditional powerhouse of football and not a club that has suddenly come to the fore based on money. So I think most of the managers respect Liverpool more than any other club. Also given the turn around that Kenny is starting to make at Liverpool, other clubs would do better to take note of it. Last night they knocked out Man United from the FA Cup. Cheers! Ram

Well, most of managers would say like that. It's to boost their enemies spirit to be overconfidences. Mostly, behind the statement they will said "But we do believe that we could handle them". He wasn't Maurinho who did the opposite, using His enemies anger to defeat them.

Alex F is the daddy of of managers and is immence at mind games. he knows man city are a dangerous foe at the moment but he treats them with absolute distain barely acknowledging they are any kind of threat. the liverpool comments while a mark of respect are also designed to rile man city as no such nicities have been exchanged over the last 3 years. Sir Alex Ferguson....king of the mind games!

Sir Alex Ferguson is like the most experienced manager out there. He sounded pretty straight-forward and just when he asked his fans to forget the racist comments raised against one of his boys. Other managers should really learn from him I wonder what Pepe Guardiola would do if something happened on his side
