Yup, I came down with a flu yesterday. I think it started at work, 'cause the air conditioning was so cooold... I already had a thick jacket on but I was still shaking. And my throat was feeling hoarse and a little painful. I ended up going home right at the end of my shift, with my jacket on (which I wasn't planning to take home), and taking a flu tablet (as soon as I got home). I was feeling really crappy, with my joints aching and all. My whole body felt like jelly. And so I proceeded to take a nap.
I woke up with me sweating profusely but I couldn't seem to organize my thoughts on what to do to relieve my body. *sigh* When my parents got home I found out that my temperature was around 38 degrees. (That's quite high. ~.~)
As of now, I'm drinking pineapple juice and typing. ;) Hope my exposure to this monitor of mine doesn't aggravate my condition. Don't worry, I'm feeling much better than I did yesterday. Just a bit low of energy now. But I can't help it, I love MyLotting! :))

Ahaha! Don't worry, I'm half a meter away from the screen, so you definitely won't get any viruses whatsoever. ;P
Thank you! Really hope so too. I have to go back to work tomorrow (hopefully). ^^

Thank you thank you thank you! :)) Although I said I'm already at work now but I'm still get occasional coughing bouts, but other than that, I'm ok. I'm still taking my cold medicine and drinking lots and lots of water. I'm also eating ginger-chicken broth right now to ease the itchy throat. I'm feeling much better. No more aches and pains and flamin' fevers. :))

Good to see that you are on the road to recovery. There are times where I'm not feeling my best but I really am not going to be able to want to lay down for too long. I know that I should, as rest tends to be the absolute best medicine but it is hard to rest, when you are restless. Therefore I do pull myself right out of bed and begin to write as much as I can.
Not necessarily myLot all of the time but there has been some small amount of writing. There are just going to be times where writing tends to be something that I'm addicted to. There might have been one time where I was on myLot when I was ill but I cannot quite remember right off of the top of my head. Still it is rather an addiction in many ways. But there are far worse addictions to have.

I'm sure you feel alright now and I didn't respond to this discussion because I was bussy or just didn't have any idea or inspiration to read and write for a month...
If I would share that problem of mine like you did , it would probabely get some responds like tips and cheer-ups that would cheer me up and the problem would disappear.
I can recomend you to take vegetables , fruits with vitamin C like lemon . Consider the bacterias can get to you from the air and from the keyboard. So ask people to not cough to the air.And wash your hands after touching things.

Good to hear that you are getting better now. It means you are a certified mylot addict. There are also times that even if I am not feeling well I try to log in mylot and participate in discussion. This site is addictive. Do you agree with me?

in flu human become helpess, hes/her resistive power come down drastically, so if someone diagnosed with flu soonely he must rush to doctor for medicine prescription. take proper bed rest. wear cloth to keep u warm, take bath daily. take ur medicine on proper time. don't eat which is restriced by your doctor.

Hello anncherry,
Its good to see that you are feeling better now.
I must say that you are addicted to MYLOT as you were not feeling better but still being on MYLOT i normally don't do it when i am unwell. It was in the starting days when i used to be active even when i am unwell but not now as now i give priority to offline things than to be online. But its fact we feel lighter when talk to friends.
