Series gone but 'attitude' remains....

Senior players are still not ready to hand over their position to youngsters even after such a humiliating performance. Youngsters have yet again proved themselves capable of taking the responsibility of representing the nation where cricket is considered a Religion.
But neither the captain nor the coach are ready to face the media or even take the liberty to do some explanation.. Ashwin being the only one with some success under his belt was handpicked for the job...
Sehwag, when asked why is he trying to whack every ball and not doing what the team needed, replied "This is how I play.. it my style.."..
Ya sure.. give us a reason why not to kick you out .. You'll be free then. Then you'll be able to play for the rest of your career as you like..
There isn't anything special left in the so called 'Very Very Special Laxman".. I wonder if he's aware of a word known as "footwork"..
I do understand that its embarrassing to retire after a humiliating defeat but what made me literally laughed out loud was Dravid's statement- " I am not thinking to retire any sooner, I am enjoying my cricket".
I really can't find any thing worth 'enjoying' in the past four test matches.
Seriously sir.. If you have enjoyed enough now then please move aside and let 'us' enjoy some cricket too..would you..??
But frankly speaking, there are two cricketing nations who would be very satisfied with India's performance-
Bangladesh- for now they know that they are not the only ones who are so consistent...
& Kenya- Now they have found their match. I'm sure their Board officials will be on their way to ask BCCI to arrange a test series between the two nations.
Share you views on this one.. ;)

I think it is not the same team that has won the world cup 2011 or should I say they are the same team with lots of attitude. They think they are complete in all aspects and do not practice at all as a result a loss of series . It a same to get completely whitewashed I mean 8-0. The didn't win a match whether it is One dat international or test matches and BCCI is the main culprit for theier loss of series as they are promoting IPL ( Indian Premiere League ) which do not concerns whether Indian team Improves of not, They only are upto to make lots of money. Young cricketer are also aim for IPL but not for test or ODI team. Young Cricketer only think if they get one season of IPL they will get lots of money. Cricket has became game of money only.

Hi rahul
I m sorry, I'll have to disagree with you on that one. IPL is one of the reasons but not the only reason. India's tour of Australia came just after the disastrous tour of England with West Indies tour being only time to catch some breath. There wasn't any IPL in between those tours so how can you blame IPL for those 8 consecutive overseas losses. Even if IPL wouldn't have been there then too the situation would have been the same.

Indian players are not ashamed at all as Ashwin has said " when two team plays one has to lose. We are not embarrassed with this defeat." Well it will be better for us if he explain when they eill be embarrassed or will be at all.
Sehwag definitely now need to change his so called " it's my style attitude". as his this attitude has offered nothing at all.
Laxman has become fatter and slow in field and useless in batting as well. He needs to think about his future seriously now.
I dont blame Dravid as he was successful in just the previous series and one of the three batsmen of 2011 who has crossed 1000 run in test. Bad times comes for everybody. But what he need to do is working on his footwork.
One man, about whom nobody dares to say, even you have not said anything is Sachin Tendulkar. What has he done in four matches? Not a single innings from him was for saving India from this crysis. He definitely needs to think something seriously. With great reputation great responsibility comes, but sachin has not shown a bit.
I ndia has disappointed the aussie crowd with their performance but has made happy the media as they prove them true of being "as weak as bangladesh."

Yeah, I guess Ashwin himself didn't realize that its 'US' who have been at the receiving end consistently..
Can't say anything about Sachin, cause its no use. Better to let him handle himself. He isn't planning on giving his cap any sooner.
The only positive outcome has been the youngsters.

yes.it's wrong to blame dravid.you can't blame him for his failure.even senior players and experts are also not commented a single word about him.because they know how perfect he is and his unique technique.but some bricks is missing from the wall.he want to patch up that hole.
and sachin is god of cricket and no one have the rights to talk about him.his dream is to bring world cup.he done it.fans are not able to digest sachin retirement.but they are expecting...it's good for him to retire when he is in hearts of all fans.

Hi there himzey,
In my opinion there are reasons behind this acts, pressure is on everytime a title game is at hand and that players try to find there comfort zones so that they can play excellent in there on right so that they can win individually in themselves and make the team win outside of them, but hey that is only my opinion.

Hi David
Yes that can be one of the reasons. A perfect example of it would be Sehwag who isn't ready to play according to the teams needs at all.
Concentrating on individual performance and ignoring what their team wants is something we often see with this side.

I think sachin is looking forward to time when BCCI will will axe him. I think that probably won't be an outstanding ideas for him.
