I know that I've been away from mylot for months because of this new found hobby which turned into a new blooming career! It's making me a profit now and I'm very happy that my clients have been giving their trust and enjoying their blogs. I'm a blogger designer now! Most of my works are chic and cute and that's just my passion maybe because I love colors. At first, I did several designs for free and since then I started charging at a very affordable price. I'm so glad to have discovered this new endeavor and I owe it to designers out here on the web who are sharing their talents through tutorials. Researching helped me a lot! I may not be that professional yet but I'm trying my hardest to satisfy my clients and so far so good!
So here. I'd like to share with you my recent work for one of my blog pals. It's called the Lifestyle Chic blogger template.
How about you? We're you away from mylot lately as well? What are you up to then?

That is awesome! I have quit the job I was at for a week and so now I am back on the net searching once again! I have been doing okay so far on several sites even before I took that stupid job! I had to quit because I was cleaning houses and I have a bad knee and It just wasn't working anymore thought I could do it again but I was wrong! I will either be trying to go back to my old job and hopefully they will take me back and I will be on the phone and if not looking for some other office job.

I'm so happy that you are doing well and have found something that is helping you to profit. I'm still looking for something that will help me in that regard as well. I'm looking outside of the internet world also. I think it would be nice if I could find more work that pays hourly and that way after the work day is over with I can just stop and spend time with my family. Unfortunately with the internet that hasn't worked well for me and I end up having to spend a lot of time online doing multiple to try and earn. But I will keep looking. Keep up the great work your doing and have a great day.

Congratulations, for many people this is a dream come true. You had a hobby, something that you loved to do and now it is your job. This is more than perfect - your work is a pleasure to you. I get away from myLot from time to time because I have a lot of work. There is nothing new, it's the same work that I've been doing for years but I love it too. Good luck!

Love you're new design. Glad you were able to find something you enjoy doing and also making money from it. I'm not much of a designer or anything so it's hard for me to find a hobby that I enjoy. But I am learning how to crouchet so maybe once i get good at it I can start making things for people and selling it for a reasonable price. But i'm not good yet just started at christmas time. Hope your business keeps a success and you get more clients, best of luck.

I've seen the photo of your design and I fell in love with it. How did you do it? I'm so envious of you, I do believe that if you love with what your doing then you'll fell in love with it.

Hi there! Thanks! I too have fall in love with designs on the web, and since I wanted to make my blogs more personalized and I couldn't afford to hire a designer, that's when I learned and do it myself instead. And yeah, I've succeeded to give all my blogs the look that I wanted for them. So far, the key is to be very patient to read and watch tutorials online. I didn't have any experiences before nor have a talent with drawing but as I said, tutorials are my best help! It wasn't easy at first, I had to practice a lot with Photoshop and Inkscape and tweaking html codes for blogger. And look, here is the fruit of my labor. I really thank God for this new found talent and I really really love it!

Blog designing! This sounds fun! And by the way, I love the chic design of your sample picture Do you also do web hosting or are you just into templates?
I hope to learn creating websites too, I only know how to play around with the htmls to make blog designs!
You are very artistic, I assume! It is nice that you enjoy what you do! And oh, your post title is very positive! I like the energy and cheerfulness your exudes.

Hi there! Sorry for the very late reply..Been very busy with the piling orders. I'm so swamped so I came here to breathe some air in mylot. LOL.
About your question, Yes. I only design for Blogger/Blogspot platform. I was thinking to learn designing wordpress themes too but I think that will have to wait for the meantime until I finish this current orders.
Oh, you know how to tweak as well? I started with that! It's fun seeing changes, right? Just be more patient to learn more. Just like what I've said, I owe it to the designers on the web who shared their skills through making tutorials.
Thanks for coming over and glad that I've cheered you up with this discussion. Happy mylotting!

Oh yes I'd been away from mylot for quite a long time. It's because my son had our internet cut off as we don't have signal most of the time. We were used to go to internet shops to get on line. I thought og going back to mylot once we got our internet at home connected again. I happened to visit mylot today as I thought of checking I might be no longer a member due to my long time absence but so happy to see still am connected so I feel free to respond to your discussion and the feeling is great, responding to a discussion at mylot after about two years of absence. May this will be the start of a continuous career at mylot again...By the way Congratulations for your new blooming career. Me, I went back to my real estate career but same just doing it part time, something seems to be missing and I would take it up with my next new discussion.
