Does anyone know how I can play Maple Story on my Mac?

I have a Macbook Pro and I can not play Maple story online at all. I know it will work because my sister is able to play it on her mac. It says it requires windows to run which confuses me because she doesn't have that and it worked fine for her. She isn't sure how she did it though and I have not been able to figure it out.
