What does your dog or pet do that drives you nuts?

My dog gets in the garbage every chance she gets, we even keep it in the laundry room, but the kids always leave the door opened and she still manages to get in it. She also waits till I sit down and start working to want to go outside, then she goes out and waits till I sit down again then she comes back to the door and wants back in, she will do this 3 times in an hour sometimes The ground is wet and snowy right now so when she comes in from the wet snow she smells like worms. Have you even noticed that smell when you dog is wet? What does your dog do that drives you crazy?
I really do love my dog by the way.

Our 10-year-old Shih tzu, Buffy, always pees on the living room floor at night and whenever she is left alone in the house. When I wake up in the morning, my first task is to clean up after her. But she wasn't always like this. This habit of hers only started a couple of years ago. But we still love her.

I have three dogs and the littlest one will start this high pitch barking and then get my beagle, very old beagle, start to howl, so it is like they are "singing."
But when I am on the computer he will jump into my lapand mess up the game that I am playing.
When my two dogs, the Lab and the mixed little one want to go outside in the middle of the night, they start scratching at their collars to ring their tags to wake us up.
Now my beagle is getting old and has a hard time with steps and if it is raining outside, he will look at me like I am nuts to think that I am putting him outside when it is doing that and walk away.

Ha ha, I don't have a dog but i have 2 cats and they do plenty of things to irritate me! Although I love them, like you, I could make a list:
1.) They always meow at my bedroom door to try to get in. I'm acutely allergic to cats - if they sleep with me or if I'm around them for an extended amount of time my throat gets really dry, eyes start to water and itch, etc. Plus I dislike having cat hair all over my clothes. But they still meow at the door and scratch at it thinking I will let them in... Ha, nope.
2.) Jumping on the kitchen table even though they know as soon as I come in the room - they jump off of it. THey know it's wrong but do it anyway (until they're about to get caught!)
3.) My two girl cats fight all the time - THAT annoys me!
4.) My youngest cat leaves little 'presents' for me outside the front door - usually in the form of a bird or bunny, usually decapitated. I know it's the animal's nature to kill other animals for sport - and I know they think it's actually a GIFT to leave it there, but I wish these cats knew that the HUMAN idea of a gift doesn't involve a headless, poor baby bunny (lol - it's sad).
5.) If I leave a basket of clean laundry of mine in the laundry room - you can bet my furriest cat (who is like 800 pounds by the way) will jump in it like it's a comfty bed. And leave tufts of white cat hair everywhere. AGH! Good thing I have practically a lifetime supply of lint rollers around my house...
That's about it for now. LOL.

My cat loves to shred the toilet paper. We can not leave it out or it is everywhere so we bought a Rubbermaid container and keep it in that. He also likes to let himself in to the cupboards. We had to get child proof locks and put on the cabinets to keep the cat out of the cupboards. The problem was he was getting in the cabinets and could not get out. We also keep a trash can in the cupboard and his cat food and he helped himself to the bag of cat food and made himself sick so now that is kept in a popcorn tin. I love my cat but sometimes he drives me nuts. He is very smart- sometimes too smart.

Hi there ladym33,
well for me my dog drives me crazy when they hide the shows, throws of there food while trying to reach it above the table and peeing in the wrong places, i am still on the process of disciplining them but since i can only come home to my mom every now and then they tend to forget the discipline and my mom is to busy to teach them so, i hope that some day i can make my dog disciplined, me too i love my dogs!
