In our living place we had some extra place were we used to grow few plants for flowers and also we grow plants for tomtato, bringle, etc., which used for daily cooking activites.
I used to spent atleast half anhour with plants.I love gardening, I felt relax and get refresh from this activity. Its something special if you get any fruits or flowers from a plant which you had grown.
Do you have such exprience in gardening ?

Hello yaso
I also love gardening.
These days, I am into planting vegetable plants and flowers as well.
However, in small scale.
Recently, I tried to plant using a drum with water.
It is similar to hydroponics but I do not use water pump of any sort.

Yes, it's a heavenly feeling to be with nature:) I started roof-top gardening when i was a kid...I used to get soil from any place where the ground was dug for building and prepare compost on my own with vegetable wastes..I had many varieties of flowers, medicinal and scented plants, and also vegetables:) I planted them in used polythene bags and buckets and was a proud owner of my own roof garden:) All used to come, see and appreciate:) But now, as we've shifted and I've moved away for my studies, there are no plants now:(

Same here. I also indulge in that kind of hobby. Just as you do, I find it really relaxing and refreshing to engage in planting. I do have ornamental plants, also some veggies and trees around my home. I also spend and hour or two in the morning in attending to them. I love to water, cultivate the soil around and fertilize them. I also sweep all dry leaves around. I do make it a point to keep all my plants well attended. I believe plants need attention. The more attention you gave, the more they grow and bloom. I also do love the cool environment plants bring around my home.

Hi jatada,
I too proud to say that I belong to agriculture family. We too grow bannanas, turmeric, ground nuts etc., in our farm. I love to feed water for those, which I used to do in sundays in the absence of our farm house keeper absent.
Then I love to grow sunflower in my home but I don't have that seeds, searching for it. Nice to hear that your growing it.
Good to hear about your Interest in gardening.

I have a fair bit of knowledge with gardening. I personally love it, and wish I could do it all year long. We are expanding our garden this year so I can plant more than what I had last year. My garden at the moment is along the side of my house, and the turn out of vegetables overall was quite good, so now I want to be able to plant more.
I do find gardening to be refreshing in that it is peaceful, I love the sunshine, the crisp morning air, YUMMY! I just want to melt now :)

Fishmomma, you had made a good point on saftey. Yes , we are sure and secure while taking the vegetables which were grown from our own garden. We don't apply so much toxic substance for its growth neither add any toxic liquid to clean them up. We do it naturally and hence its better to health.

Hi yaso, gardening is indeed a very healthy and satisfying hobby. When you have some space around the house , it is great to make the bet use of it by growing some flower plants, ornamental plants and also if one can do so - grow some vegetables which come in useful...I love gardening and have a lot of plants and trees around the house.Gardening also relieves stress and helps in naturally controlling and stabilising your weight..

I love gardening. for many years I only had plants with flowers, but now I´m starting to learn about growing veggies. I made 2 raised beds for the veggies and I have had some produce, although not as much as I would have liked. I´m learning yet
