anyone know where i can find a copyright free pencil sketch of a tree?
I need it for some material I'm writing for kids. the idea is that the tree will eventually be turned red and the hidden objects will be able to be seen by wearing red glasses. sounds odd but it works. Only hitch is my working model uses an image i don't own.
do you think it's worth posting a job? i could pay a little ($1?) if someone wants to draw one for me and scan it? though i'm thinking there must be a site that offers this sort of thing?
thanks

tandyleather.com might have a tree, they have all kinds of free pictures there, but I don't know if you can reuse them for sale, I know you can for leather projects and those are often for sale or type in public domain tree. I think there is a craft sight that has free trees, too. I don't find drawing trees all that hard, but ones with lots of detain. I do. Depends on what kind of tree you want, too.

Thank you so much for the ideas. i found an image on clker.com in the end, with quite a trawl. hopefully the kids will appreciate it, i just have to get the finished composite printed. I did try the drawing route but i needed many branches and leaves and what i came up with just looked either bare or like a scribble!

Hi, Gfeefo1, I've just responded to a discussion about exchange of things:

I think that your demand is fitting with my idea for the exchange of virtual things.
It's easy to make a sketch of a tree, especially if you have a tablet, and send the file.
I can't draw but maybe a fellow myLotter here can do this and you could compensate him/her with another favour.
