Youtube crashing chrome?

Why does Chrome crash every time i close a youtube video while it's playing.Is it not unreasonable that Google owns both services but they are incompatible?How can this problem be fixed?

I just had Chrome freeze on me when doing the same. Bit off considering how much YouTube were pushing Chrome as being the ideal browser to view the site in a bit ago.

I have not tired you tube for a long time but now may be i will see to it. I think they may have some kind of misunderstanding or conflicts going among them.

There could be many reasons. Your system could be getting overloaded for some unknown reason. Or, you could be trying to multi-task why to much. Or, you could have a bad copy. I've used chrome to play youtube videos, and I can navagate away without any problems. I'd check your system to see if chrome is somehow putting a strain on it. And try not to multi-task too much while playing videos.

Technically, it's the Flash player that keeps crashing Chrome and not YouTube. The problem is more acute when I play Flash-based games. I actually have to reboot my computer to continue playing. And it's not just Chrome, Firefox will also crash more often when you're viewing webpages using Flash. I thought the problem will go away when I upgrade to the latest version of Ubuntu, but my browser keeps crashing. Anyway, I haven't checked up on the latest possible solutions to this annoying problem so I'm just tolerating it for now.
