Do we think that we as Christians are living the way we have to? Is it not all preaching and no practicing? How many of us actually practice our faith? Do we show it in our actions that yes i am a christian and proud to be one and looking at us the nonbelievers would want to believe in Christ. But i guess there is something lacking in us all, we are still weak, we are afraid, we do not want to see reality, the pain, the suffering and want to run from it which is just opposite of our christian faith.

I think a lot of Christians are kind of coasting through their Christianity, I'm trying to live my faith out the best I can. I do my best but I'm not perfect.

Me, I am trying to live up the fruit of the Holy Spirit with the grace of God. Only the enablement of the Spirit can I really be living as christians. I know God can understand my weakness as a human being and He always avails His grace to abound in my life everytime I am weak and can no longer control my human nature. I used to try my best to really obey Him all the way but at times I do fail.In this case, I am sure that God can help me still to live as one He wants me to live for His glory..when I ask for His help and grace.

I'd like to think that I'm living my life the way Jesus taught. I've not arrived at the goal yet, but like the Apostle Paul, I press toward it. I'm thankful that there are Christian preachers and teachers who have taught me how important it is to renew my life daily by reading the Word of God and to speak blessings rather than curses. I think when we have those opportunities to witness for Jesus, we have a duty to perform. Because we're too concerned about offending others or are worried about what they'll think of us, we often keep quiet when we should be telling others about God's benefits. I know people don't like having things forced on them, but there's nothing wrong with sharing the truth.

i guess that is just about what we should learn and teach others... more on what they see from us... more on what we do and how we react to life situations. as christians, we should live our faith... we should let other people know that we christians live differently from others who does not believe in God.
let others see the good in us, in everything we do and they will sure want to know where it is coming from and why we shine...

Sincerely speaking, I think most of Christians are just Christians with their mouths but how they behave is very different from that they say. We have lost reality with true meaning of Christianity.

Yes we Christians should do things not just preach and preach. We should communicate to others with actions and showing them the love of God. I'm really happy you got this discussion. It is very necessary now because today's generation it bombarded by evil programs by the devils and is flooded by temptations and in it many people are loosing hope and going to the wrong path. If we can show them what really love is we will definitely save them. Lets show love as Christians.

I don't consider it living the way we "have" to, but rather the way we get to. Living the Christian life is a privilege and when we realize that, it humbles us. I am glad to be one - very glad, but not proud. I did none of it on my own. Christ called me, He saved me and He keeps me in spite of myself.
Yes, I am weak, I am sometimes afraid, I don't like to see the pain and suffering that is part of life. But Christ in me is strong and fearless and can handle any suffering I may experience. When those things come upon me, I just turn them over to Him and He is big enough to take care of it all.
All I have to do is trust Him.
As to what others see in me... I pray that they only see Christ. I am a long ways from that ideal and far from perfect. A Christian is not perfect; only forgiven.

I am too a Christian and I think I practice my faith. I'm not the type who like preaches my belief to everyone. I have friends from all walks of life and they range of Buddhists to atheists. When we have discussions, I don't really involve my faith because it will cause up arguments so I prefer to keep my faith to myself. But I still practice my faith through actions and how I treat others. Actions are much stronger than words and a Christian and claim that they are the most faithful person to God but they might not even display it through their actions.

Actions speak louder than words. Just preaching without practicing one's faith is like hitting an empty can; you make so much noise but there's no love and compassion in your heart; It's total emptiness. Conversion to Christianity only happens when people from other faith admire our peacefulness, generosity, patience, humility, slowness to anger, and tenacity when faced with all kinds of persecutions and adversities. When the non-believers see us in such states and start to envy us to the point of wanting to be like us such as written in the book of Daniel, "I want to have THAT FAITH...", then you know, as a Christian, you have fulfilled your duty.
