I have a 4 month old female mixed siberian husky and german sheperd named CHULILIT! Her parents are my boyfriend's pets. It was an accidental pregnancy. I was the one who raised chulilit from 2 days old until now... I was like a mother to her especially when she was only days old. I have to bottlefeed her every 2-3 hours, I got disturbed sleeping pattern by then but I really enjoyed it much... now she's big, but forever she will be my baby!

That is so adorable. My son keeps talking about getting a dog so I don't know. Not right now at least he is just 3 years old so no need to. He does this thing where he crawls on his hands and knees and barks like a dog. It is so cute. I remember when I had my first puppy. I was like 5 she was a German Shepherd. She was so loyal, friendly, and protective of us. We called her Cinnamon.

I think your son is so adorable and smart! and your right maybe you'll get him a dog when he is a little older, where he already know his responsibilities. However you are there to help him take care of a dog.

I hand raised my baby parrot, I found him on the street dying. He was few hours old and I have hand raised him ever since, I love him very much and I think of him as a human baby rather than a bird baby. I hope that you will find the right means of taking care of this baby dog, because animals are very sensitive and they need lots of love and care. I am glad to here you enjoy feeding the baby, this shows how much you love her. The name sounds pretty cute, my baby's name is Cloudy!! Because he surely brings so much joy in my life :) !! Best of luck.

that was really nice to hear that you hand raised your parrot that is about to die. You really have a caring hand that was able to make him well and cared for him so much. Cloudy? pretty name! Pets really are like stress relievers in our life. no matter how stressful my day is and when I got home I just need to cuddle her and even talk to her and all my stress is done. my day is never complete without her. I have also a mixed daschund and pincher, he's my 5-boy named shadow! Now I am taking care of my 2 babies! I enjoy every bit of it! I never have a bird pet yet, how is he as a pet?

Congrats! HAHA! I thought I was the only one that called her mutt a "Siberian Shepard". I too have a Siberian Husky/ German Shepard mix. He's three now and came to me after being a rescue dog. Let me tell you...he's the best of both breeds. He looks more like a GS but his body type is sleek and his tail curls like a SH. With his looks he seems intimidating yet he's the worse guard dog anyone could have. After he's done barking, he'll be quiet. He rarely growls and he's really good with the children who since we've had him has been of the ages of 3-15. That dog can take alot of childish abuse from our little ones. He really loves his family. Hunter will stick close to the children if we have a stranger in the house...but he doesn't threaten anyone. Once again he relies on his appearance to prove his point. Now, since you have a Siberian Shepard as well, what has she done that's very much Siberian like or Shepard like? Does she blow her coat? Does she love to escape the yard? What about taking her out for a walk...does she zig zag whilst on a leash? ~Stjarntydarna
