Sooo...I volunteer for a professional theater doing various things. We had Rock of Ages come by this past weekend (AWESOME!!!) but the crowds got a bit drunk and rowdy, leaving quite a few bottles and beverages around after they left.
I figure...it's a rowdier, raunchier show than many, and that's fantastically fun. But it's still a theater, and I think musical etiquette still applies. It's not a concert, and I guess what I'm getting at is pick up after yourselves, people!! You and everyone else paid a good amount to see a show, don't spend the whole time going back and forth to the bar, and please be respectful. it's a lot more fun!!

The way I've figured it out, is people, unless they have worked in that line of work before, don't understand and thus dont' respect common courtesy.
I work for a grocery store and honestly a lot of my customers are wonderful nice people, but they don't understand what we do to make them happy and so they come off as "sure of themselves" and "the owners" so to speak.
Common Courtesy would say to throw the trash away and not leave it but I see people just leaving it, even in a movie theater. I've gone on dates where my date did that and I didn't say anything but I sure wanted to.
