after how long since you started the relationship you should say I love you? I mean would it be weird to hear an I love you after the first day or so...do you think that this would make your partner freak-out?
in my case it was weird...he told me I love you after the few first minutes since he asked me to be his girlfriend...and it simply blocked me. I was like I couldn't say a word

I hate it when that happens, which was a lot in high school. Exactly how long you should wait depends on the situation, though. If you two had been best friends for years, then it's okay to say it at any time. For someone you don't know well, it's fine to wait weeks or months. And then, you might really like the guy and be with him for a year, but never say "I love you" because you don't feel like you actually do.

so I guess you don't really believe in love at first sight. I think that you should say it when you really mean it. aldo it sounds weird to me to hear/ say it from the very begining. I don't belive in love at first sight. I think that to say you love someone you need to know that person well...know the way he reacts in different situations and so many other things. so in my opinion love takes time. but what should you do when the other says I love you but you don't feel the same? should you say I love you back and practically lie to him?

No. That just makes the situation worse if the couple breaks up. It was horrible in high school. I had been conditioned to say "I love you too," any time somebody says "I love you," which was always my family up until then. It became an automatic response, because if I didn't say it when my annoying pervert of an uncle said it first, I got "the look of doom" from everyone who noticed.
So, naturally, I lied to him before I even realized what I said. It was made even worse when I was the one who broke up with him, I felt horrible.

I think say it as soon as you feel and mean it, but there is always the chance that the other person may not feel the same. However, even if you've been dating for 20 years and someone for the first time admits love, it's still possible the other person may not reciprocate.
