Setting up a "page" for your blog

Does anyone know what category we are supposed to use when creating a page for your blog on facebook? I have read through all of the choices and I'm not sure which to choose. For instance, my blog is about travel--do I choose Local business/place, company/organization/institution, or one of the other categories? Does it matter?

It is good to create a page under the category which is most relevant to your blog. This will bring true and consistent visitors to your blog.

Very true. I am still trying to figure out what a "blog" is-- is it a local business, or a company? What do you think?

You had choosen right category for your page. I feel it is good that you choose that category. While categoey didn' matter much but it is good to place one in the right one.
Either you create a page for you website or blog or personal or others you must choose that one which fit most in the your idea. There are so many time confussion comex but it doesn't mean that you should pick wrong, choose that is too close to you waht you want to present.

I agree but before I get to that point, I have to decide if a blog belongs under the "local business or place" tab or the "company, organization or institution" tab.
Any thoughts?

I am not familiar with creating a page within facebook to publish your own blog. But, won't they have wide variety of options for you to choose and write your own blog under those categories? If I were you not sure which one, choose the one closest to the contents you are gonna write about. Hopefully you can create some good content for us to read.
