What do you do or what is your reaction if your girlfriend should slap you in public? This guys face first was white then turned pink then red...lol. I think the girl is his gf, they were at d mall checking out some clothes this girl was holding a particular one and I think the guy said something about the dress or maybe compared her in d dress to something or someone...then she just turned look at him for a while then from no where the hand swing out swooch!... If it were you what will you do??

If I am the guy and my girlfriend will ever do that- sorry to say but, I will call it quits! Granting the guy says something, like comparing his girlfriend to other girls or said something about the dress. The girl has no right to slap the guy on public. Gosh- can she be civil for a moment duh!

I agree. It is just humiliating for a grown woman or man to hit their bf or gf. Its so rude and embarrassing. I also am against the lady yelling at her guy in public also. Its just as rude and embarrassing as if she had smacked him. I actually get mad at the woman when this happens, it doesnt matter what was the cause. It just wrong. ~C~

I don't think that any woman should be able to treat her partner in such a way. If a man were to do something similar to a woman, everyone would think that he was being abusive and might even get the police involved. If you don't respect your partner enough to treat them in a good way when you're in public, then I don't think that you should be with that person. You should be mature enough to talk through your differences and make decisions about your future sensibly rather than doing things such as that which aren't good for anyone at all.

If I ever slap a guy in public there are only 2 acceptable choices - he can apologize for what he did or said that was that offensive OR he can leave and never come back. Girlfriends do not slap a guy for no reason especially in public and what ever he said had to be very offensive.

he should dump her. you don't hit someone you love. it shows a complete lack of respect. violence in a relationship is a big no no.

Whoa! It sounds like the man you saw needs to end the relationship and consider filing a domestic violence complaint. I don't care if what the man said was uncalled for or hurtful, you cannot put your hands on another person. If I were that man, that's exactly what I'd do. I'd get up, leave, and end the relationship when things were calm. If she had slapped and hit him before, I'd file a domestic violence complaint. It ticks me off to no end to see women hitting men like this in public and getting away with it. If a man smacked a woman, you can bet someone would step in or at the very least call the cops. And yet, when a woman hits a man, people tend to look the other way and think he deserved it. How can society have a double standard like that? As a woman myself, I can't imagine a situation that is ever appropriate to hit someone else, and no matter what kinds of disagreements my husband and I have had, physical abuse is never an option. It fixes nothing, it's wrong, and it's an extreme act of disrespect. I hope this man finds himself a mature woman who will respect rather than abuse him.
