My ex and my room mate. UPDATE!!!

So, I would like to clear the air about my situation. As it stands, I am out of my room mates apartment, and in another place. I have been away from a computer for now 6 days. It is nice to see that people still comment on your post even though you are gone. :{
My ex is my ex for a reason. My room mate is my room mate for a reason. She is understandably upset over the break up due in PART to what happened Nov. 22nd. Yet she needs to know that I have questions about how to fix things. I would never write about my ex the way she did of me. I will not get into a he/she said thing but I will say that this is a discussion for all people to express their problems, interests, likes, dislikes, and frustrations.
That is what myLot is. A place for people to give and receive. That is what I am doing on mylot. I give relevent information to the subject at hand. I will never give private details of past, present, or future. If other myLotters wish to do that, then that is up to them.
One thing that I will not allow is my past to be drug through the mud. I am not worried about my name being slandered seeing that I do not have a very good one. I am not worried about my reputation, seeing that I just got out of prison. I have had problems in the past, and that is where they should stay. Only to be brought up in times of PRIVATE discussions.
All who wish to judge me for that then by all means, do it. MyLot is my place of refuge. I will continue to go and post, but now that my dirty laundry has been aired, I may have less friends, or whatever...
So, that is my situation, and that is the latest. Have you anything to say?

I could only say that I feel the same. I don't see MyLot as a place that one should pour out their information or their real person. We're here to discuss things and discuss our thoughts on the matter - there is no need for drama nor a need to truly say private information about yourself.
Though yes, there have been a lot of Mylotters who have become too personal with MyLot, I could surely say that I am not one of them.
I am here for one thing only and that is to earn. I know it sound pretty messed up but I think most of us wouldn't be here if the site didn't pay after all. However, I have grown to love Mylot because most of the people I have 'discussed' with here are obviously not the usual bystander who don't have anything to say that's relevant - I am attracted to the 'intelligence' of some people here (sadly not all).
Anyhow, I think it's good that you have found a new place and is out of the place that gives you much drama - though honestly I don't know about a lot about you nor the MyLotters because I never keep track of people here nor their 'persona' stuff.
But yeah, keep out of drama and let's just live day by day with a little bit less stress and perhaps more money! hahaha..

Hello, laydee. Well, I have to say that this was posted when I was a new myLotter. I think I had only been with the community for about a month and a half, and I didnt post much.
Now that I have been here a while, I "get it". I dont normally let everyone into my personal life, but it just so happened that I was venting because I had no one to turn to.
It is odd I understand that I would turn to a website to tell my woes, but truth be told, I just had no other place to go for help.
In another discussion, my ex took it upon herself to tell myLot all of my problems. Here I was defending myself. MANY people see these discussions, and I know that the few friends I had made at the time, say her post as well.
I was embarrassed, to say the least, and wanted to deactivate my account here. It was a way to get at me. She loved to tell the public my problems, so I decided to show them what the "real" reason was.
Thanks for responding after all this time. And I have been happily Lotting ever since. Thanks.

Thanks for your response lovely. I am feeling exactly what you are saying. Room mates are even more trouble than they are worth. I should be moving in with my sister once she moves here to Oregon from Iowa. I am really happy that she is moving. Have a great day. :)

I don't know anything about your past except what you've told yourself. I don't know who your ex is, nor do I care.
I AM glad to see that you're all right, though and that you have found another place to stay. I hope things continue to go well with you and I'm still praying for you.
Don't let life get to you. It isn't worth worrying about what someone else said or didn't say or did or didn't do. Get on with things and leave the past in the past. (Maybe you said that yourself?)

Hello, peavey. Thank you so much for your response. It took me so long to get back and that is in part because I am now working holding signs for two companies, and I just moved on wednesday.

Looks to me you did feel the need to say a lot of private things.
for me it's not important to read this all.
I just want to say: happy mylotting, welcome back and believe in yourself! That is all that counts.
Ps dirty laundry, spoiled reputation, judgements.. this all only exists if you believe in it.
