Okay my brother in law is married. He has since moved in another girl into his house. He wants to have a relationship with this girl. He has convinced his wife of this. She is a bit slow and has nothing, he will not let her have a license or a job, and if she leaves he will take their three kids from her. How can someone do this to another? He has lied to everyone in one way or another about this new girl. What makes a person do this to their spouse? How can a spouse let this happen? I know if my husband did this I would no longerbe around. How about anyone else? Do you think that it is okay for plural marriage? What if one does but the other does not? Share ideas and thoughts.

Well this sounds like a quite complicated story and what I can tell from it is that the wife isn't that happy with the situation. The husband sounds to me like a bad one. You asked how can a man do that...well I think he just doesn't care and clearly doesn't love his wife, that's why he has another girlfriend. The wife is probably too scared to make a move, but that is only up to her nobody is going to do an importnat step for her.
I do not see anything wrong with a wife or an husband having multiple partners as long as both parties agree and are ok with it. I personally wouldn't like that kind of relationship, one person is enough for me.

I don't know all the details but I can tell that the poor woman with three kids is a housewife without job and means of making a living. Unfortunately she has a loose husband but he's not the only one on the planet. I think that the whining is useless now.
Maybe some friend or relative could help her to begin a new life without losing her kids? Or maybe she should seek the advice of a lawyer.

It sounds like he is an abusive jerk! No husband should take advantage like that. The wife needs to throw a curve ball and get the kids and leave! Im sure theres someone that would be able to help her right? If there is, she needs to get out of there fast. That is so terribly mean and I feel bad for her. Tell her she can find someone that will treat her better! I hope she finds a way out soon.
