"Guardian Angel" Mary Hamer Turns to Iranian American Prisoner

For those who have watched news, you are aware of Mary Hamer as the secret Guardian Angel of Joran Van Der who is convicted of killing the Arubian woman. What makes this situation even more interesting is that, this woman has spend like $1000 on this ruthless killer just to make his life comfortable and hiring a lawyer for him but now, the woman has resigned from being the guardian angel of Joran and has shifted to Iranian-American prisoner.
What is your take on this woman especially on the Joran Van situation? Do you think she was in love with this guy or she was the "guardian Angel" that she claims or just another way to seek fame? She is a professional woman (radiologist)and I cannot understand why she is obsessed with bad guys like Joran.

You know it makes you wonder why some people have a mind set to do that with the Joran case.
But since he was found guilty it is good to see her move on and try to help others that may have not committed a crime.
Maybe she just wants to be known as the kind hearted person that gave help and belief until proven guilty in a court of law?
We cannot answer these questions without knowing her for real.
