What makes philippines more fun

I think the new slogan is getting to be quite successful inspite of some criticisms. The slogan is often used now in all forms of media especially television. This slogan is a lot better than the Wow Philippines a few years ago. I just wish that some people would really take some efforts in convincing tourists to visit the Philippines especially those who are into blogging, article writing and even those who are joining forums like us. There are still people in the world who have never heard of our country and through internet exposure we might create an influx of visitors. It's really more fun in the Philippines because you can communicate with people who are conversant in the English language. This is one of the advantages of the Philippines over our Asian neighbors so it can be considered that it is more fun in the Philippines. We may not be having fun in our own country but promoting tourism is for our own economical gains.

I believe that is not how the people behind that slogan meant it to be interpreted, I think they are talking about Philippines compared to other countries especially countries that are well known to be visited by a lot of tourist. They are trying to improve the tourism situation of our country, they wanna attract more tourist giving them an impression that visiting Philippines is so much fun compared to other countries. That's how tourism works, coming up with a nice slogan is a big factor in the tourism industry, for example Malaysia come up with the slogan "Malaysia truely Asai" it is so simple but I think it is so effective in giving an impression, by that slogan they are able to make a message that if you want to really feel like you've been in asia and experienced what "asia" is really all about you have to visit Malaysia. Philippines is such a beautiful and wonderful place but the Government or the Department of Tourism in the past wasn't able to really capitalize on that aspect of our country, and now they are starting to do that hoping that they can make Philippines one of the best destination for tourist.
