What has long been rumored, innuendoed, accused and finger pointed is now a matter of public record. There is no denying the fact that the effort to recall Gov. Walker and Republican state senators is fraught with fraud, shenanigans and even other illegal activity.
People from other states; signers from Wisconsin, but not from the senator's district; people signing several times; convicted criminals who haven't served out their sentences, parole and/or probation; even ET apparently wants to recall Walker; and two or more names with matching handwriting
There are other, less heinous discrepancies, people leaving out their city, state or zip codes; zip codes with 7 numbers; signatures not matching the printed names; and putting initials instead of names (which I figure explains the E.T. entry ;~D).
No wonder the lefty Government Accountability Board worked so hard to fight their responsibility to release the petitions for public scrutiny. The petitions are evidence of the very fraud the Right has been talking about for over a decade now.

This recall is showing the public how really corrupt the Democrats and the Public Sector Unions (not the employees) really are.
What is at at the heart of the issue is that Governor Walker did what he said he would do. Are we going to punish a politician for telling us the truth? Every time in the past when faced with budget cuts politicians tell us they will cut police, fire fighters or in schools they will cut sports. When the voters vote down the increase the politicians find other ways to cut. They did not tell us the truth but we don't recall them. Gov. Walker told us the truth and we want to recall him???
Or are they trying to recall him because his actions cost the Unions big money and power?

Both sides hold pretty shameful secrets and we can't expect any political body to regulate itself. Everything is information overload and lots of bs. Until we the people bother to hold officials abd others accountable to be honest, they'll just bs as much as they can be no one is going to take the time to hold them to a higher standard.

Oh, I'm sure both sides do have pretty shameful secrets, but these aren't vague or conceptual examples. These are specific examples.. real people, with addresses.. people that can (and should) be charged for specific crimes.

How is he hijacking your thread? I think he brings up a good point. People just need to start policing themselves and each other and quit making our system lock up so many people for nonsense. To many times these days people cry foul just because people disagree with each other.

And America needs to understand that what happens in Wisconsin happens everywhere else. It's why Democrats fight so hard to make sure we don't have voter ID laws. You really think the fraud ends with petitions?

Exactly! As well as any other voter reform to decrease the opportunity to cheat.

I am for preventing fraud but its not like people can't get fake ID's if they really want to.

States have made it harder and harder to make fake IDs.
