HUSBAND DEMANDS FROM WIFE (SON)

Could part of the problem be your husband wants his name to be carried on? We had 3 girls but my husband really didn't mind. Wasn't anything he could do about it!

Personally I think that if a man wants a child he has no right to demand anything from that child...the only right he has is to pray that the child is healthy...a real man wouldnt ask for anything more

Here there is the problem of dowry.Even though there are strict anti dowry laws they are more observed in breach rather than in compliance.So only greedy husbands demand son.Ignorance also add to this misdeed.For many of them want to keep the name of the famly forever and they think that can be done only through a son.There was a time it was thought in northern parts of my country that wives who couldn't give birth to a son was considered cursed.Now with the development of genetics things have changed considerably.
