Idiot drivers lately, absolutely dangerous.

I've been dealing with nothing but lousy, idiot drivers the last couple of days. I've been lucky though, none of them have caused any trouble for me. Yesterday there were a few of them, whether they were cutting me off in traffic or just not driving for the conditions. Even today, there were a couple of idiots out there. One I was ready to yell at since he made an extremely foolish move. Yesterday, the roads were slick, the temperature was rising and the snow was melting. Most drivers weren't driving for the road conditions and it made it unsafe. One driver, she decided to burn rubber off a side street that was extremely slick, and she fishtailed when she turned the corner. I watched her as she almost sideswiped me, then almost bounced off the curb. And then she sped down the street and cut in front of me. How about the idiot this morning, behind me. I was signaling to turn left, and he comes up behind me, then suddenly swings to my left and turns right beside me and speeds down the road. I was so ready to give him a piece of my mind when he walked up the street. It was like he was oblivious to what he had done. Then some jerk cut someone off trying to reach the on ramp to the highway. He speeds up the ramp, slams on his brakes and honks at the car in front of him who's actually going the speed limit. They weren't going anywhere quickly due to the fact that it was rush hour. Yikes. This is why driving in the big city is dangerous.

And to make matters worse, not only was it rush hour, but it was icy/hazardous road conditions. I usually try not to go out the first day or two of bad weather unless necessary. I also hate it when people who *think* they know how to drive on ice start acting stupid and cause accidents and then wonder what happened. I can only hope that by next winter that people will learn to think before acting.

Hi Kris, believe it or not but this happens everywhere not only in the bir city...There are dangereous driver all over..It just seem so many people are in a hurry going nowhere..especially when they almost and sometimes do cause an accident.. But we as drivers have to always be cautious of our surroundings at all times...Its really annoying when we encounter jerks like the ones you had to encounter...

always be careful whether you are driving in the city or elsewhere. i agree that there are just some people who are just not into signs, or are not considerate enough to drive carefully and are most likely trying to get themselves killed and make it look like an accident. hehe =)

When people drive like that it drives me nuts too. You should've turned some of those people in that's alot of traffic violations right there. If someone comes up behind me and rides my tail in a 30mph zone i'll slam my breaks just to piss them off or slow down even more because really why do you have to speed in 30mph zone? There's always cops around in town so i'm not getting a ticket but they can. Some people don't care about other drivers and some people shouldn't be driving. Glad you made it home safely with all those crazy drivers out there. Atleast we know how to drive the right way.

You were definitely very fortunate not to be involved in any mishap. Nowadays, it's not enough to know how to drive, you have to learn how to drive defensively. We can no longer assume that drivers would abide by traffic rules and stuff. I myself wait a few seconds after the lights turned green before I to drive an intersection. You'll never know when some idiot driver would try to beat a red light.

Speaking of lousy drivers, there are plenty here anyways. Mostly are those who sped and then without any sign of over taking, then just barge right into your lane. If i wasn't alert, an accident happening won't be surprising. Dealing with work is already a pain, just imagine, even driving, you have to stuck up with lousy drivers. Listening to the radio isn't as enjoyable anymore== . I wonder just what are they thinking! Acting so selfishly. Eventhough there are laws, but there aren't effective. I wonder, if those lousy drivers don't value their own lifes? If they were to cause an accident, and rob off someone else life. They should know more than enough, it's no difference than murder. Sorry for being hyped up. Oh well, in the end , I didn't came up with any solutions == haha

It sounds as if you have a whole lot of stress all the way around. Then you add crazy drivers into the mix with slick roads. It is crazy.
