Has anyone heard the rumor that the new Xbox 360 wont play used games?

If that was to be true, the game system would bomb completely because if the pricing trend continues they will be more expensive than 60 dollars and there is no way anyone would pay that much for a game every single time not to mention the cost of the system plus a controller and the online costs. The total would be too astronomical to be worth it.

iv e never heard this i do no that certain games that are used on the xbox 360!!!not 720 but 360 like saints row for example once u use the code for online u can not play the used or rented game on line because u need a certain code for each game ...its dumb but most companys are doing this from what ive seen when i rented saints row..couldnt play online unless bought a seperate code its dumb and just a plot for more money for the big guys lol ... and not to mention gamestop eb and microplays all over world would shut down .....lets hope this never happens...

Are you talking about the xbox720 that is to come out in a few years? I've not heard anything about it but i that was to happen I would hope that the games they have will be affordable and will be worth the money for the system. I doubt they would make it where used games or older games can't be played as they would lose a lot of money that way.
