It not hidden from us the risks that we do have while enjoying using facebook and what we are exposed at here. But from what we know we couldn't just stop using it in the first place . What must we do then if we consider FB as a dangerous thing aside from not using it, coz it's not that easy to do that, to prevent being victimized? what else we should be aware about it then?

Facebook can be very dangerous. People give out much personal information on there...the security settings change all the time and just when you think public cant see it they change it again. Photos get uploaded...private info gets posted and people air their dirty laundry and fights on it.
It also opens people up to theft of identity...that photos can be saved and used on other sites to masquerade as the person in the photo.

well i was not that excited about fb in the first place but had to find some old friends and where they were hanging out so to speak so joined reluctantly anyways. i am now finding all the changes to be redundant and maybe even unsafe, i agree. i just can't get into it there much anymore.

I think now a days lots of people enjoy facebook and lots of people spend lots of time in myLot. I am not sure what are the things that can be done to prevent being victimized. I think one of the thing that can be done is not to add the strangers. I think another thing that can be done is not to put the photos on facebook.
