I know football was a greatest sport in the world and it bring world all together.My family enjoy watching football but not me.like football, but not too much like them.They can tell me name list of the players.What team they was and anything else about football.Can all of you tell me why they act like that..

There are people who are really fans of a sport that they know everything about it, including the names of players and stuff. I think it's some sort of transference. They're living it vicariously. I mean, some people are aware that they can only be spectators to a sport. They know that it wouldn't be possible to be a professional player even if they love the sport so much. To compensate for this, they instead learn about everything that sport has, including like you said, the list of players. This brings them a certain thrill as if they are actually the ones playing.
