Hi there my co mylotters, Im working as a beauty consultant and make-up artist. I'm Handling International brand. My salary is not big. It's only minimum. And If you are from my country you can easily say that a minimum per day salary is for only a single person. But even though my salary is low compare to other company with same position i learned to love my work. I love the training that my brand gave me. I love the personality developmenmt training that my company gave me. And because im in the sales I also got some commission if i hit my target monthly. And because I'm handling a good brand they also give me product allowance and sometimes they also give us salesgirl gift everytime we launched new items. And because im interacting w/ clients they become my regular clients and most of them they become my friends. And these are the reason why i love my work. This past few years as they hired many executive and many operation manager ofcourse they also made some changes on company rules and regulations. I'm a very flexible person and I'm not afraid of changes because I look at it as a challenge. But i have this feeling that im not happy anymore because we always hear the "IF YOUR NOT HAPPY W/ COMPANY POLICY THE DOOR IS WIDE OPEN" And it's not helping! Instead to motivate their employee they make us to feel that we are not important. Many of the Regular employee are resigning and now they are strugling getting their benefits from the company because the company chatging them all the loses.! Now I dont know what to do.. Please posts your views about his..thank you so much for your time reading my concern.. Happy Mylotting...

working is really not easy, but working is a part of our life to be. why we will feel unhappy, because there are a lot of rules and regulation from the company which is not suit to us, that's why we feel unhappy. i also like that, feel tired with my current job, even i love my job very much, but i still have the same feeling as you. maybe we have to change an enviroment to start our new life, else the other method for you to continue in your current company is to change your mind. let yourself to be happy, as what people said, choose those you love and love what you choose, that's life. cheers up novelcai... :)

Same here, I feel like I'm not happy anymore with my current job. There are factors that I can't explain but I just felt it. I've tried looking for other job but none hire me. That's all I need before resigning on my current job. My advice to you is just hold on until the day that you can't handle it anymore, and if this happen it's time to find other job. Like you, I'm also earning low salary, which is not minimum for my position.

If you're not happy with the company, then it's best if you look for another job. You already have experience and knowledge of this job. You can received better position and salary somewhere else. However, you also need to bear in mind, you're not yet to be guaranteed to be happier in the new company compared to your current company. The same situation might happen again.

Hi!I think if you are not happy with your job anymore, you should transfer. Why prolong your agony. Find a company who will take care of their employees.:)

First of all: it doesn't matter where you live, a minimum income is a minimum income. And if you only have that for yourself you are lucky. To me it doesn't sound as if you are as flexible as you say you are. It also sounds as if the company is in big need (not hard to understand with the bad economic all over the world) and they try to save money, find a solution. Complaining employees won't help, a reason to motivate them isn't necessary since there is hardly work and there only option is (although childish): if you are not happy .... I don't have a solution for you if it comes to this. If you find a better payed job (no matter what kind of) leave. If you need the money stay, make the best out of the situation and hope you won't end up on the street with nothing.

Hi this is also happening here in Europe and the reason is simple "the crisis". Today companies would like to have less people or to press people at the same price, so workers amployees become numbers to manage and if someone is not happy "no problem" the door is open because 1000 out there are ready to take that place. What to do? To stay if you love your job or go away searching for a better situation if you can find one!

hi novelcai sounds like you do get a lot of benefits but you should be getting raises too.I would check with your labor board to be sure that your company policy is indeed legal as a lot of companies get away with bullying their workers witb that B.s. about IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY WITH COMPANY P OLICY THE DOOR IS ALWAYS OPEN as that might just might not be legal. sounds really offputting to me.sort of like bullying someone and doing it semie-legally.

I have been through all these working pressure and unhappiness. I took the decision to leave the job and started a small business with a friend. Unfortunately, it turns out to be not as what I expected for the earning. I have been struggling for 4 years and having 2 children to raise. I'm trying to get some other side earning but not that easy as well as to get a job. Well, my advice to you is to stay and learn and accumulate your experience as much as possible before you really cannot take it one day then you leave. I'm sure with your experience with a branding product, you should be able to get a job easily. Good Luck.

A company can be a really good company. It can be for example very generous to its employees. It could have great benefits or super salary. Companies also can have a vision, training programs and policies. The door is wide open is an expression I've heard and to me it means you are free to do as you please but it is often used to reduce complaints. It is however I think a second rate expression and is better replaced with something else in my opinion. I wonder what would happen if an employee took a lot of sick leave, paid or unpaid if they would care? They might, or complain about it but one could respond back with an equally second rate expression.

Hmmm if you don't feel happy at all then I advise you to leave. With the trainings you got and the experience of interacting with different clients and learning the strategies in selling, I am sure that it would be an edge for you to get a good company as Sales person in a company that offers good salary and benefits.

Hi novelcai, To tell you honestly, it's hard to find a new job now. You're still lucky because you're still able to work. Not everybody has jobs right now. As you said, you're a very flexible person, so since they're are some changes in you company's policies might as well take them as a challenge. Before quitting your job think about it. I hope these changes does not really affect you. You also said that you love what you are doing, so don't let this affect you.

hi novelcai! If you are not happy with your job anymore I would suggest that you leave your current work and look for another company. Apply to the other company where you can grow better and be happy. A company who shows to their employees that they are not important do not deserve a good employee like you. Everything that you have learned and experienced from that company will before your asset, use it when you apply to other company. Try to apply at their competitors, maybe they might offer you a better package than your present company. If you plan to resign and move to the other company, make sure that you already have a new company to move in before you resign to your present company, so that you are still earning while looking for a new job.
