Selling in Ebay

Friends. I am curious with those among you who sells over at ebay. Is ebay a free site on where you can sell your stuff? If yes, how much do you pay for it?

EBay, at least here in the US, no longer charges a fee for listing the first 50 items in a month. They used to charge fees based on the initial listing price. If you item does not sell, there are no fees. If it does sell, they take a percentage of the selling price as a fee. They collect the fees once a month. If you use PayPal to collect payments from buyers, paypal will also charge a fee based on a percentage of the selling price. In the US, you can use your Paypal account to buy postage and at least here, you get a small discount on the postal fees.
