Basically, how do i start to enjoy this site?

well, like what you do now. you can create a good discussion just from your daily activity. or ask something about site, maybe, or other.

Welcome to myLot! I hope you realise that you will only earn for what YOU do here. If your topics receive responses, you don't earn for them. Those who post them will earn for them. Here you have posted only a topic for discussion but until you come back and comment to us with something that furthers the topic, it is not a discussion, just a question with some answers - and that is not what myLot is for. Get involved in the topics by commenting back and forth and then you will start to enjoy yourslef and your earnings will benefit too.

First of all, having a good group of friends helps a lot. Make sure that you choose people who, by their past performance, are interested in the same topics as you and will post good responses which tend to further the discussion. Then you will have to do YOUR bit as well! Come back and post comments (=replies) to each of them (or as many as you can). A good topic is one thing; some nice responses will, no doubt, show you that it's interesting but UNTIL YOU REPLY, it isn't even beginning to be a DISCUSSION! As several have already said, you DON'T EARN A BEAN EXTRA when others respond to your discussion. You only earn from what you type. If you don't have enough interest in the topic to be able to say something worthwhile in reply, then it's hardly a worthy topic for you to be posting to begin with. It's often easier for a new member to choose discussions which interest him/her and respond to those, especially when you know that the D.O. is going to give you a good reply which leads you to comment more ... and so on. What is a good way of asking a question so that it CANNOT merely be answered with 'Yes' or 'No' or in just a few words?

Start some funny, news or general discussions then whenever you got the respond comment back on it. Respond on others discussions also, make lots of friends. I mostly enjoy with others discussion also and on my discussion also because I start danger discussion like snoring while sleeping, singing in bathroom, no water in toilet tap haha..... Welcome my friend and enjoy with me.

First I open email then check the discussion of my friends. And try to response to them as much as possible. Once I finished all the email I received from my friends. I add more friends so that I will be updated to the interests and discussions of my friends.

Can you give me ways to make my/our discussions more lively? I can only suggest: just learning by seeing. Do participate in more discussions and learn from those..

just follow more discussion add many friends and let your heart choose what is the interesting discussion that you want to respond it

Post some discussion on your own interest and and answer some discussion posted on my lot. You can post several discussion of your interest. Making the discussion more lively is really on the kind of question you post, and you response to each posted answer from your posted discussion. Discussion which have common interest to all get most answer because everybody can relate like discussion on relationship, love, student and life. You can post any discussion you like as long as it is not prohibited by the rules of mylot.

You could try adding all the interests first in the site, all the topics you like and all the things you would like to do and have experienced doing. You could also explore lots of topics posted by other members here since theres just like around of millions of topic posted already and maybe around hundreds of new interesting topics posted in a month by members from around the world. If you are interested to make lively discussions, you could also try posting topics where lots of people could relate to or you could also post topics if you need anything to share or if you need opinions from other members. I actually enjoy reading posts here of other members and at the same time i also try to make responses when i feel like i have something to contribute to the topic to help. :)

Hi daniel chang! Welcome to mylot. I was a also newbie before, but as time passed by i started enjoying here. I hope you do too. Well, anyways what you need to do here, of course post some discussions, response to others discussion, you can also post some photos, use the search and you can also do some task. In discussions, make sure that people will get interested. You can start a discussion under any interest that will suit your discussion. There are a lot of choices. I myself, post discussion that are based from experiences and situation in life. To make more it lively, if a person responded to your discussion, make sure that you response back. I think that's all i can say. happy lotting..

Hy daniel_chang welcome to mylot, in my experience, so our discussion more lively, choose a title that was also interesting in talking warm, give a brief explanation should not be too long because not everyone on myLot fluent English, multiply the response of friends and other discussion, hopefully they will respond back to our discussion, keep mylotting! sorry if my english bad!
