It is a precious video!!! I'm wondering if the cat was trying to help or if it really wanted to smack that kid??? There are several more cute animal & children videos if you have the time to check them out. I've seen a couple of them on my local news station. What you think???

What a sweet video. The cat seemed as though he/she was trying to help soothe the baby. Don't really think there are many cats who would warm up to a fussy baby and try to mother it. Thanks for making me smile this morning.

Most humans wouldn't warm up to a fussy baby either!!! I'm assuming that this was a female cat with a ton of Mothering instinct. She just didn't give up until she had the baby all nice & quiet!!! This is one of those gems that I just love mining out of the internet!!! It made my day when I found it & I'm thrilled to hear it helped to make your morning!!!

GREAT to be back also!!! I had not realized how slow my old computer had gotten until I got this one!!! As I said in another discussion, I had broke my wrist & was in a terribly large cast at first. Typing one-fingered was a definite challenge!!! Now I'm down to a manageable cast. All I need do is get past the pain when I type too much!!! My 12 year old niece has been kind enough to stay with me when she can. I dictate to her what I want to say & she types it for me. Then I go back & edit it to include my sassy attitude!!!

Wow!! What an amazing cat, and to think you often hear of dogs who can sense how people are feeling and be of concern and try to help out. I think this is awesome that someone would own a cat that would be like this, but wouldn't most people be afraid that the Cat claws would scratch the child?

Oh I just loved it. I probably spent an hour on there after I followed your link watching those videos. They are great. I know it's not animal related but I got a kick out of the teacher's texting policy too. That cat was amazing..I thought at first he was mad because of the look on his face but it was soooo sweet when it looked like a give the baby a kiss.

Did you see the puppies that were crying & squirming around until the owner started singing the old Doo Wopp (dayum it, they won't let me spell it right) song Good Night Sweetheart & they immediately curled up & went to sleep. When he stopped singing, they got back up & got restless all over again. So he started singing again & they went right back to sleep. I also loved the dog barking at the cat until the cat charged him & he ran off crying!!! The cat daring the alligator to take his food was funny. I had seen that one on the news. The teacher's idea on how to stop texting was funny if it wasn't your phone!!! I stayed there for a good while watching them also ... some more than once!!!

Oh Marissa, that video is adorable! That kitty is mothering that baby. Looks like she (I assume its a she) kissed the baby. How cute! The baby seemed to be comforted by the cat's touching her/him.

The baby was most definitely comforted by the cat. I'm assuming it's a he & he stopped crying once the cat began to pat his head. I know my cat pats me, but there's usually a little tip of the claws to go along with it. Once again, I can only assume that if the cat added a touch of claw that the baby wouldn't have stopped crying. Cats truly amaze me!!! Did you see the puppies that fell asleep when the owner sang the old Doo Woop (myLot won't let me spell it right) song Goodnight Sweetheart??? Then when he quit singing they woke back up until he sang some more. There were several other cute videos there. I've not become familiar with Bing; but after watching these videos, I might just be checking out the Bing videos a little more often!!!
