What you have quoted is NOT in the Bible. Matthew 1:20 says: "But as he considered these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit." There are occasions in the Old Testament when angels take on the form of men and are only afterwards known to be angels. We are not told how the angel appeared to Mary (who was, presumably, awake at the time). The literal meaning of 'angel' is 'messenger' and no description of angels in the bible represents them with wings. Cherubim and seraphim are described as having wings but not angels.

hi ritz friend you have started very good discussion i appreciate that........my dear meaning of those lines means they(angels) may appear as men/women and one with wing that just a description by some authors and painters made paintings on the basis of that.........i believe the person who helped you in your need or in your bad times is an angel for you........and this i s for everybody......you may be an angel for your friend and your friend may be an angel for some unknown and that person may be for someone..........so i can say this is a transformation of divine soul from one body into another and this is a big chain............

Men as in other human beings? The bright light they usually have behind them probably makes any clothing they have on look white. Menevolent beings who help us from time to time.

Angel shows before you in the form of normal human being. Not in the form you have been told about. Angel is God-created and made of light that can travel at 300.000 km per second.

An angel is nothing but an idea, the moral-pattern behind a good, moral action. But the human brain can't understand why such a good thing would happen-of it's own accord or -for no reason at all, so the mind attaches a person to the action so the brain can truly believe it actually happened. But angels often become demons if you praise THEM rather than 'the One who sends them.' So--when you do something 'angelic' for one of YOUR friends--take 'that they like what you helped them get' as all the thanks you'll ever get, and let all additional glory go to God!

Well I personally believe that line. I think that the line means what it says...sometimes Angela may appear as men. I've also heard people telling many miracles and I have also read many books relating to angels being among us. Sure, some of the books...well actually all of the books I read are fiction novels and are not true stories, but I still deeply believe that angels are disguised as normal people like us ready to guide us whenever we need them.

I think that there are many influences available to us if we just ask and open our minds. How many times have you been worried about a problem and then as soon as you relax and ask for help an idea enters your mind and the situation is solved. That idea may come from another person, something you read or maybe just hear on the news or even in a conversation between others. It may come in the form of a feeling or a happening which seems just luck. What I call that is intervention of angels, as for wings and white cloths I would be very surprised at that. But I could believe that if someone said that is how it happened for them. I don't know the answers, only some of the questions.

My sister-in-law and her children were coming for a visit. While driving on the freeway, her car got a flat tire. She got out and as she was looking at the flat, a man showed up from nowhere. There was no car, and there had been no pedestrian walking down the highway. He changed the tire for her. He was there and then he wasn't. He disappeared as mysteriously as he came. If he had been walking towards her or from her, she would have seen him. There was nothing to obstruct her vision. He was just a normal looking man, no wings and not in white. Was he an angel? I do believe in heavenly angels. I also believe there are people on earth who are also angels! Like friends and family. I know some of my freinds are angels in their own special way! They have helped me get through some rough times and some are always there when I need them! I would be lose without my earthly angels!

angels do exist, they may not be in white long clothes and with wings...but they are just around...they were sent to us when we are in need...always saving the ship for us:)

It means that they can't be seen, but can also take physical bodyes. Angels do exist and it's a small chance that you would have an angel as friend.

If you interpret it as angel may appear as men, i have never experience it before. Not that I know. Maybe the people surrounding me are angels but i don't think I will notice that. However, this line may be interpreted as, do not do forbidden things, or bad things as God is instantly watching. It's a very good law, whereby believers will be cautious and resist temptation as they believe angels may be watching them from afar. Well, those would be my interpretation though. Haha! Sorry if I had offended anyone. I'm a Christian by the way.xD
