hi friends
friends since last two weeks i am too much worried about my hair...i don't know how but i am dandruff on my scalp and one problem of hair-fall started .this problem is started from last two weeks before that i never experienced such issue
my grandma used to say that if somebody is getting issue of hair-fall then that is the sign of unhealthiness. i know this problem may arises because of three reasons 1)indigestion 2)some weakness after a long illness or 3)not getting sound sleep from long time.......
i think the third reason may occurs because i am working i night shifts and sleeping in day time...that means i am not getting sound sleep everyday.....
friends i am too worried please help me here to get rid of this issue...please if you know give me some tips........
thank you

Hi Ritz! If you have time, I suggest you get a hair treatment at a nearby hair salon every week. The damage will be repaired, although slowly, but it will with time.
Another alternative is to use coconut oil. Just the one you can buy from the local market is enough. Apply it on your hair and scalp every week, then cover it all with a shower cap. Let it sit for 1 hour, then wash. (I remember I wash it for 3 times in one go just to get all the oil out.) But if you stick to that routine for 3 months, as in really stick to it, you'll get absolutely nourished, shiny, and bouncy hair, you won't even think of going to the salon for a treatment or getting your hair rebonded. It's totally worth it. :)

Oh yeah, and since it's oil (coconut oil) it'll moisturize your scalp, thus getting rid of the dandruff. Falling hair will be minimized too, when you get healthy hair. :)

Are you taking a good multi-vitamin? By that I mean one without waxes or other additives? You could also use a dandruff shampoo. Too much residue left on your hair can cause problems too. Even a healthy person loses several hundred strands of hairs per washing.

I have had dandruff before and I found the best shampoo for that is Head N Shoulders. I believe they have a formula just for your scalp issue! If not I am sure some other dandruff shampoo does. With hair lose it oculd be stress or something lesscausing the problem. Maybe you should consult a doctor on that! Take care!

Hi ritzz, I an not sure what the problem is but you can
certainly hear the concern in your post..
It sounds like you have narrowed it down to 3 reasons for
the hair loss...SO it those are the reason then you alreay
know what to do to correct the issue..
But as far as the dandruff, there is this product call Scalpcin,
it is wonderful for this problem..It really works...You can
purchase it at establishments like CVS,Walgreens, places that
sells toiletries....you may even find it in the supermarket...
Good luck and get yourself some rest...

You grand-ma have some old wives ideas. I've never heard something like that. You might check your diet, and I would change my shampoo if I were you, use natural herb blend shampoo ( organic) and see if there is some change and if you can change to daytime work to help your health better.

are you sure that your hair fall problem is causing by those 3 reason? sometimes maybe the shampoo that we use is not suit to us. i have a friend, she also facing hair fall problem, but the problem caused her is because the shampoo that she used is not suitable to her hair type. other than that, there is another reason will cause hair fall. if you eat too much salty food, will also causing hair fall too. but i think you better check for the problem, maybe you can get some information from doctor. dont worry, i think the problem can be solve one. happy mylotting.

Have you tried looking on the internet to see if there is an answer for what to do about unhealthy hair and scalp? If baldness does not run in your family, then your grandmother is probably right. Also, worrying probably doesn't help either. If worse come to worse, go see a dermatologist.
