what cam should i purchase?

hi friends
i am thinking to purchase new digital camera however i am little bit confused there are many good cameras in market with good features and high prices,however if somebody can tell me what should i purchase so would be good in features and affordable to continue with my hobby of photography?

for me, i choose those digital cameras that are powered by two disposable AA-sized batteries, as well as capable of powering by using a two AA-sized rechargeable batteries.
I prefer Canon brand because they have lots of unit digicam gadgets capable of what i mention.

It really depends on your needs. Do you plan to take very high quality photos and like professional photos then opt for an slr camera but if you just intend do take casual photos, get a digicam.
Canon, panasonic, sony, samsung are just some of the good brands. Also don't be misled by megapixels because image quality does not solely rely on that aspect, you should also consider the quality of lens used, features of the cam, etc.
