Hey Mylotters,
I am getting married next year & I am thinking about having a kids corner at the reception. We have about 20 kids that will be there all under the age of 11. I really want to do things the kids will enjoy without breaking the bank or making a huge mess! Any ideas?

I agree on your plan. Having a kids corner at your wedding would possibly make your wedding smooth. But you have to get 2-3 babysitters to tend to the needs of the kids during the wedding. I mean you have to be with your guests most of the time (that's if you have a lot of grown up invited) and to be with your husband. It all depend on your wedding plans if you want to have a formal ballgown wedding or after the wedding would be a children's party.
goodluck with the married life.

There is a great website called orientaltrading.com and they have a number of things to keep kids entertained at weddings. I suggest giving each child guest a wedding-related fun-bag. There are colouring books related to weddings, candies (OK that could just make them hyper!) games, and all kinds of stuff. You don't need to limit it to the wedding theme though, if you don't want to. You can do all kinds of things for kids.
If you're having ring bearers and flower girls etc. you can get special personalized occasion gifts for them from the same site. It's great for kids and parties!!!!
