I am hosting a small Super Bowl Party at my house tomorrow night. Living a few miles from the host city of Indianapolis, you can only imagine the crowds and the excitement that is felt here. Many people are tired of the extra traffic and crowds I am sure, but overall the excitement is the we all look at it as a once in a lifetime experience and Hoosiers are enjoying the festivities as much as if our beloved Colts were there.
Most Indianapolis fans are cheering for the Giants to win! I am certainly as I would like to at least see a Manning taking home the trophy and win from a stadium that is home to one of the best quarterbacks in the league- Peyton Manning.
Are you watching the game and are you hosting a party?

We aren't hosting a party but we are certainly having a yummy spread of Super Bowl food. We are doing Wings, Weenies, dip, bread, and deserts. I'll have to have a wheel barrel to get me to bed tonight
My b/f was talking about how Indy was super packed. His mom has appointments there and she said it was crazy busy.

Yes, I heard people rave about the weather. I felt sorry for Dallas last year because they had so much snow it kept people away during the week before the game. So businesses who had counted on revenue were sadly disappointed.
Kudos Carol, because everyone on TV has said how great the people were. They said everyone was so nice.

Sounds yummy! We had wings and Weenies too! Indy was packed and has been all week. I think that the fabulous weather that we have had this year has helped the crowds and I think that Indy has done well with all the preparations.

I am certainly glad to see that things went so well in Indy for the game and I am proud of the city for the work that went into the preparations for such a big event. I believe that most people went home happy and satisfied with the treatment they received in Indy. Hopefully, we can see another Super Bowl come to town in the future.

I'm not really into football but I'll be watching the game tomorrow at my bowling league. They always have football playing on the TV there. My boyfriends favorite team is the giants so I'll be rooting for them. I'm sure tomorrow night at bowling will be interesting. Hope your party turns out pretty good and your team wins :)

Watching a football game at the bowling alley- sounds interesting! Actually, the party went well and the evening was topped off with a win by the Giants!

GO GIANTS! I SO want the Giants to win. I loathe the Patriots. Even though if the Giants win all I'll hear on ESPN is people saying Eli is better than Peyton. Which is so no true. I mean you don't even want to get me started on the flack Peyton gets. And how much I'd like to smack Jim Irsay. No offense. I live in Oklahoma, after all. But I like Peyton and I like the Colts. And I cannot stand Tom Brady or Bill Bellichump.

Thankfully, the Giants are the Super Bowl champions! I loathe the Patriots and Tom Brady as well. I know that I have already hurt that Eli is better than Peyton and although he has more Super Bowl wins than Peyton, he is not in the same class as him. I will say that Eli is starting to look really good as a quarterback and is certainly looking as though he is improving each year that he plays.
I am not sure what is going on with Jim Irsay and Peyton, but I certainly hope that if Peyton is playing that he will be playing with the Colts this upcoming season!

Oh I wish Peyton would come back as a Colt. I think he wants to. It's Irsay that's going to get in the way. I have to say where Peyton goes, there goes my loyalty. Most of the time I'm simply a fan of the team. But this time I'm more a fan of the player. And Irsay has really annoyed me, so...

I think that many Colts fans will not follow the team if Irsay lets Peyton play for another team. Lucas Oil Stadium is the house the Peyton built in many ways as the team really struggled many times before Peyton was hired and I think that the team will crumble without him. I want to see him go on to coach the team at some time if he ever decides that he wants to be a coach. We love our #18!!
