I don't like to see that people walk,or move do things so slow.. Or i mean when they act so slow.. Example, its sunday to goo to church and then you act or move so slow doing preparing ,,but you are fast to move or do work in other things..! Is like you do more love your personal other things than to move fast or do things so you can go Church early.. Me , i do do things fast because the time is fast and i want to be on time!

Sometimes I feel the same way. I get a bit frustrated when a family member or a friend moves so slow especially when he's holding everyone up. I mean, I feel that time is being wasted. I too move a bit fast, not to the point of being in a rush, but just enough that the time is made productive. I don't mind if some people prefer to move slow. It's their time that's being wasted. Just as long as they don't affect other people's time.

I just hope that sometimes people would take time to read and not to jump to conclusions fast. I did mention that I don't mind people moving slow, didn't I? So I'm not discriminating or something, and I'm especially not being racist about anything. The topic posted was in reference to people who can actually move fast but don't for one reason or another. It doesn't refer to people who can no longer move fast like old people or sick people. I could relate to what was posted especially the thing about going to church. I have a brother who really takes his time to dress up even if we're really running late.

I personally agree with you they are some people who move on slow all the time. Its just who they are same as people on fast speed as you describe yourself. I am middle of the road I think most of the time although I do have slow days and im not sure what causes it? And you know when you are having one even the simplest of things to do takes forever. Im not sure if it is our bodies minds or a combination. I have one brother and he doesnt move slow so to speak but if there is a long way to do something he will find it. Im sure there are others like him who arent slow per se just take the long way around. I dont mind slow so much except when im at the store.Dont care for slow cashiers or slow customers at uscan or in front of you paying.. Some people cant talk and do and when you get those in front of you or waiting on you then grab a magazine and read cause its gonna be slow...whats your personal pet peeve of what someone does slow that gets on your last nerve?

I strongly agree with you, Ryan45212! I also have slow days, very slow to be honest with you. In my case, when I'm depressed, everything seems so slow. When I'm inspired, I am fast like lightning! I can multitask. Your brother reminds me of short and long methods in Mathematics. We always asked our teacher why he always preferred the long method if there are short methods possible. This is absurd! He always made us exhausted during Math class. I do mind cashiers and other sales staffs who are slow because they are trained to move faster. They should multitask. It's a requirement. That's one of my pet peeves.

Me too! I always try to move fast in everything that I do. Time is essential for me and I am trying to move like the fast paced technology of nowadays. In walking, I consistently walk around our plant fast. I do feel that I am more efficient when I do things fast. However, I do feel exhausted and tired doing so. When I do feel that, I often will take things slow at that time. Also, doing things in a rush can result in disasters and mistakes too. There are advantages of moving fast and moving slow. I believe that there should be a balance of fast and slow mode in our life.

He he...Yes me too there are times i go fast or do things because of time and you have to be on time on the place you are going to go.. Nothing wrong to be slow but if you make reasoning to be slow i think is not a good habit.. I also slow sometimes but if there is occasion that i need to be on time so i am to do on time.

I tend to be slow sometimes, especially when there are other things that I need to finish. I think that it is just normal with people sometimes. Unless you do it everytime especially with important things then it will be something that I would hate. I try to be punctual when I need to meet someone or have to go to church.

Me too! I am one of the slowest persons on earth. But whenever I have an appointment, I see to it that I come on time. If there's an emergency, I'll inform them right away so that they'll not wait for nothing.

Hi befrindwithme, did it perhaps occur to you that the ones who move so slow when gettign ready for church is moving slow because they don't want to go...otherwise if they have some speed other times why only when its time to go church.... There are some people who has the demeanor of just moving slow but they move slowly all the time...they only have to speeds and they are slow and slower...LOL... I am also one of those people who likes to be on time and as I have said times previously in other post, I truly dislike waiting for people...My time is important to me and don;t like when others just don't really give a damn.....

Time is always worht if we use it wisely...People don't think that because they don't have enough work to do or not love their own goal or time they use.. I am slow but if there is need things need to go or like church i will be on time do doing it and also to God.

hi befrindwithme26! maybe because they think church has no biometric clock to time in, like in workplace. that's why they don't hurry and they move slow. But! in other side maybe they are slow because they just want to be looks in their best so when they come to church they are calm and not feeling hurry but they are late. It's just what i think... but me actually when i come to church i come on time, i set myself to wake up early, so even i move slow i still be on time because i finish preparing myself early :)

There is no problem if they are already late in mass because they can always attend the next mass. Here, mass is done every hour. The only problem that I'm seeing here is if befrind and these people he's talking about had an agreement that they'll attend mass together. That's indeed annoying if he waited for them and got late just because of them, or if he is already in the church but no one comes on time as what was agreed.

I can see where that can be annoying. But people are who they are. They will put forth effort to do things and go places. Now the level of interest or the expectations that are placed on them to perform these things can have an impact on how quickly they are in getting ready or complete the project. In my own personal experiance when you try to rush someone on something, they intentionally slow down. Something to keep in mind for the next time you get annoyed with these things. ~C~

I am slow, of course. However, its just the best I can do and if I try to be faster, it will only take a few seconds because I feel stretched like a guitar string if I did. Now, I don't have a choice but to let people see me this way and they assume I'm acting strange when in truth, my physical make up only allows that speed and further tries are only self-torture. Would you want to feel bad just to impress and appear good? I can't and I'm not sorry. :)

I do tend to move slow sometimes but not because I am slow but because I am just not in a rush or maybe I am just trying to take my time. I do agree though that there are certain places where people who move slow are annoying. The one thing that comes to mind will be like when you are in the street or something and there are like three people in front of you who are taking the whole space of the walk way and they are leisurely taking their time walking when everyone else in their back are trying to rush.

I am a fast paced person and always have been. I have a problem if I have to wait on someone. I was taught if we were told we were leaving at 8 we had better be ready. I have one son that waits until the last minute to get ready or do things then we are usually late for things. He can be so slow at times at this upsets me. I keep telling him to walk not crawl.

I think it is really in the person's personality. I am not slow, I act quickly. Even if they are slow, that would be okay. Why? Remember "SLOWLY BUT SURELY"

Doing things slow? Or do they what they have to do relaxed? Or do they what they have to do with care and attention? I think it will tire out if you are always doing things fast, if you walk fast, if it always looks and feels as if you are running out of time. My advice: throw your watch away. Live with the time clock inside. Do what you have to do with care, love, attention. You will see you will always be in time and you are enjoying your life as well. ps you will even find out you have time left over!

It looks like everyone today is in a hurry , has to suffice as much as possible and stuff...the technology is faster , proccesses of factories are always get more efficient... So , did we become happier with all of that ?... The more time we have , the more things we want to do with it. Where are we all going in such a hurry , damit ?

I also dont like people to act slow, but different people have different characteristic. We cant stop them to act slow, and cannot make them to change. So the greatest way is that, we change ourselves, then we will feel better. Just be patient friend.

Hiya befrind, Me I move quick most times but I do have patience with People that take their time to get ready although they can drive you round the bend as well. My kids learned to sort of walk very quick instead of that slow steady walk that most Babies learn. I had a hard time trying to teach them otherwise they did not want to walk on their own as they were so used to those gadgets that help Baby to walk but I did it in the end. A lot of People who seem slow are methodical and thats all there is to it.xxx

Me again, All my life I have been surrounded by People that always want everyone else to move very quick so I take my time most of the Days and just don´t really listen to them it goes in one ear and out the other. After all they do not get anywhere quicker than I do and I don´t protest half as much either. They are born protesters lol always trying to shove you out the Door quicker than any other. I am very quick at Shopping but I usually like to go on my own that way I remember what I want even if I rush around like something gone crazy depends really.xxx

I had one of my kids that was really very slow to get out of Bed in the Morning and now is the same but when he does eventually get up he rushes around and wants everything done very quickly but I refuse to move at his pace saying that he should have got up earlier and not try to push everyone around lol. Just cannot win sometimes though. It is good to take things easy and I can annoy some People but want they do not realize is that if I am in the Kitchen I usually have everything prepared beforehand so that way it seems I am taking it easy. Oh well that is it for now all.xxx

Dear friend, you must know that when I "am in the form" I move very quickly and therefore offers the advantage that I can do many things. Of course I say this as only "when I am in the mood." Despite my speed, sometimes I meet some situation that forced me to slow down the rhythm. But also this is part of everyday life.

Did you mean to say you're always punctual, and you hate people who are always late? It's different from being slow. There are people who are not as fast as you expect them to, but they are always on time. I had one housemate who takes a bath for more than one hour. She also cooks her food for hours. But she never gets late in any of her appointments because she wakes up very early. She admits that she's so slow, so she always prepares her stuff three to five hours before her appointment. That being said, she's never late in any of her appointments. I am one of those who is really slow. Like now, it's 9:00 AM here. I am already ironing my clothes and preparing my things because I'll attend mass at 11:00 AM. I have two hours to prepare everything and to take a bath. I'll not be late though I'm very slow. I have enough time.

My tempo is also slow : I think slow , I do things slow and I prefer it that way. I don't like it when being in a hurry with stress. I like my inner peace and everything in my life slowly becomes compatible with that way of living. I will find a comfortable job , if I need a lot of money , I just learn how to save it and manage my life to have as much peace as possible. Plus , I like dancing and zumba.I like it whene the traffic is loaded and slow like in R.E.M 's song "everybody hurt" :). My dad is the oposite and so I learned to not take life with panic. If I find something that I like , I will plan in advance how to do it right even if slow.

I observed lately that my movement slows down after having daily exercises but it does not mean I am one of the slow people. I walk fast and move fast, only that I always rely to my watch with an exact time which sometimes I felt confident and relaxed about it, where I develop this habit of procrastination when later I realized that it is not right to rely on exact time when I am about to attend for the next mass because I was late. So now, every time of my wrist watch and alarm clock are always set to 45 minutes in advance from the exact time.

I also value time .I do not want to be late in any function I go,whether it is attending a mass, meeting or just simply hanging with friends. I also do not like people moving slow to do what they want to do.. For me time is precious, it should not be wasted. What they can do in 1 hour I can probably do that in 30 minutes and the next 30 mins will be use to do worthwhile chores. We should be efficient with time because it does not wait for us.
