I'm from Malaysia. Have anyone tried to withdraw from Microworkers after they scrapped PayPal? What are the charges for AlertPay and Moneybookers? I found that AlertPay charges USD 15 while Moneybookers charges 1.80 EURO. Does this mean that withdrawing via Moneybookers in Malaysia is better?

varier my friend I hate moneybookers because not varified my account no. it demands a code and that code is only in city's bank not in town bank. Now my payment is pending in microworkers because moneybookers not varifying my bank account.

I live in the U.S. and had a similar dilemma over which payout method to choose. Alert pay seemed easier so I went with that. Once the money was in my new Alert Pay account, I checked over the options to get the money. As it was only 22.77 I certainly didn't want to spend half of it on getting the money! Unlike paypal, the only free method offered was a check. I took it. I got the check less than a week later for the full amount. It cleared in the bank with no problems.

Yeah, I thought about that. It still is weird their high fees for bank transfers when paypal has none!

Yup, I really hope that I can withdraw using PayPal. The fee for bank transfer is lower but it can't be used in my country anymore. The fee to clear the check is the same with the fee for me to withdraw via bank wire, which is USD 15. Anyway, thanks for the suggestion.

I regards to your queries, I am willing to provide you the following data to share with all of you here.
These are about my recent withdrawal respectively from my Alertpay and Moneybookers account.
Alertpay:
Withdrew the amount with $53.88 (MYR162.54) from Alertpay account by Bank Wire method. Assumed the currency changing rate was $1.00 USD = MYR 3.00
After deducting the Alertpay's processing fee $15.00 and the local bank processing fee, I received the amount of MYR 91.73 in my local bank account.
Moneybookers:
I withdrew MYR 54.53 from my moneybookers account.
After deducting the Moneybookers' processing fee MYR 7.12 and the local bank fee,
I received the net amount of MYR41.00 in my local bank account.
I hope these two cases in my recent past withdrawal will be very useful to you. decide

I just want to clarify to you again about my preference here.
Paypal is the best for Malaysians because of it's low processing fee. Other than Paypal, I shall select Moneybookers as my SECOND choice and my last selection will be the PAYZA.
Payza charge $15.00 USD per transaction and it is very expensive for me.
For instance, if I want to withdraw $30.00 USD, I have to pay 50% for the processing fee. After deducting another processing fee by my local bank, I shall manage to collect less than 50% of my withdrawal amount.

Sorry for late reply. I'm not very active in myLot.
Thanks for the explanation. So from you said, Payza/AlertPay is better. Actually I've seen some said Payza is better in Malaysia after deducting all the fees.
Will try to withdraw from Microworkers when I earn more so that the processing fee becomes less significant.

I live in the United States, and when Microworkers got rid of the Paypal payment option, I started using Moneybookers. I done some research on which option people preferred when it came to Moneybookers and Alertpay, and it seemed like more people preferred Moneybookers. I personally don't care much for Moneybookers since they require a $1.80 fee for withdrawing money. I don't know much about Alertpay at this time, so maybe I should do a bit more research. It could be a better option out of the two.

Here are 2 things I suggest that you look into:
1. Currency exchange. Since Alertpay pays you in USD while Moneybookers is in Euro, knowing which of these 2 currencies pay you more when converted in your local currency can help you figure out which one is a better payment processor.
2. Ease of withdrawal of funds. You may ask yourself these questions: Does Alertpay/Moneybookers allow me to withdraw my funds even without having a verified account? Can Alertpay allow me to withdraw my funds in the local bank? How about Moneybookers?
These are just a few of the things you need to consider. Try to have a quick check and you should be able to successfully decide for yourself.

It is a good general approach Piloncitos. I will add 1) that it is not true that Moneybookers uses Euros instead of USD and AP USD and not Euros : in both you can have an USD and an Euro lines in your account balance, and the currency of the fees depends of your main currency. It will be by example Euros in EEC and $ in USA. 2) that he should also consider which processor is better to transfer/buy items or services online with the money in his balance.
